Monday it's all over, and so far there are exactly five users from this forum among the 56 overall players. This makes NintendoLife the ONLY forum to send more contestants (compared to last round) than any of the other communities!
I hope this final clue post will remind and/or motivate even more to still join the game.
So then, here are the final clues:
1) Number 3 is a realtime strategy game. 2) 25 players have gotten game 8 right, but 31 players have gotten it only half-right. Watch out! 3) Titles 2 and 5 are loosely based on books. 4) Picture 7 shows you the insides of a hospital.
I was hoping I'd be able to work out the fifth theme and game #12 before the end of the month but I still can't think what they could be. And I've definitely seen #10 before but I can't remember what it is either! Argh, etc.

We haven't had one this year, true. The December bonus question will be about picking your favourite round of this year (it's already up), but I'll do another Wunschkonzert question in the first quiz of 2021.
Alright, we managed to get to a crowd of 84, that's quite okay. Four of you were even able to get the themes as well as the games completely correct, good job!

THEME 1 - Super Mario - 1 4 8 12 14
Almost everyone has gotten the plumber. This theme was easy thanks to the prominent character.

Orcs are such a standard enemy for video games. They might look a bit different each time, but this theme was still quite easy for you.

Now it gets more abstract. Here you had to connect the Grinch and Jack Skellington with Christmas, even without visual cues like red/white clothes or the "Die Hard" Christmas tree.

This one was tricky. While three pictures where still easy to spot as angels, number 15 shows a monster that you can only classify as "Angel" if you know the anime it is based on. Then there's the lady on picture 17, who is named Angel. Respect if you got this right!

THEME 5 - Peter Molyneux - 7 10 16 22 24
These five games are connected only by the star game designer Peter Molyneux. A quarter of you got this right - more than I had expected. Some correctly stated the five titles but weren't able to name the connection, this still got them half a point.

@Mr_Horizon So #24 wasn’t Overcooked.... I don’t have a clue what Curiosity is, but those arrows pointing into bowls is what made me think it was Overcooked.
@Blooper987 There are definitely blind spots in my games universe. I'm not well traversed in the Japanese consoles outside Nintendo/Sega/Sony. I've never used a Wonderswan or even a Neo Geo for example.
And I'm thinking if I should maybe retire after the year. But unless I delete my account and block all participating websites, I'd end up checking out the quiz anyway...
