@lifer If you go to the quiz website, it says Coming Soon. But on the bottom of the quiz, there’s a question about whether you liked the quizzes. The final one says King of the World, so it’s the one for December,
Heigh Ho Heigh Ho. It’s off to work (from home) I go.
Are you the mayor of your town? The chieftain of your tribe? The president of your country, or even the emperor of your galactic realm?! This time we look at the bigger picture - games where you control leaders and decision makers that steer entire countries as well as armies and civilians alike.
This can mean political and armed conflict or peaceful building strategy. Sometimes it's all about the survival of your people in a harsh environment, or about political intrigue for more power.
Do you like to be king of the world? Then take a look at this quiz and show us what you know.
@Mr_Horizon
Could you do a popular things quiz from 2000 to 2020 for the jan quiz since its the new year you could write a riddle like you could write a year in a riddle and try to guess the year

Hey, I am always happy if people come up with ideas - but what exactly do you mean? "you could write a year in a riddle and try to guess the year" is not clear to me, maybe you can give an example?
@BabyYoshi12 yeah the first feedback in regards to difficulty is a bit gloomy... I am sure hints will help, and you won't end up with 0 points.
Maybe it's just for Lifer, Earthpainting & J.R. to have a proper challenge for the number 1 in the yearly high score.

Challenge accepted!
This is finally a month in which I can hope for the clues to help out, with five wild guesses and one game for which I got no idea. Maybe that can be googled somehow...? But not today.
I'll submit early in hope of fitting clues.
For the survey, I chose three months as the BEST, as those were particularly memorable: Frankenstein, self-solving and Themes. At the same time, Frankenstein would have been the hardest, and Themes the easiest.
The first 16 wannabe rulers have already arrived (one from here), but no one is near a full score - so it's a perfect opportunity to join in and score some points before Christmas takes over.
Here are the first clues:
1) Picture 1 shows the SNES version of the most famous city building sim game. 2) With Title 3 we have an RTS game that was released even before Dune 2. 3) Game 6 is part of a long series of british strategy games - the visible installment is one of few without a historical background. 4) Number 5 and 16 are probably the most famous series of computer games from Germany.
@Mr_Horizon Still don’t know any. I don’t think I’ll know any before the end of the month so I just submitted an empty submission form with just my username to score NL some points for the end of the year (:

Hmm, maybe I had more wrong than I thought. The clues aren't helping... I think/hope.

Neither looks like FarCry/Crysis to me, to be honest.

Try googling a bit from where you have an idea what kind of genre is shown and which era the game might have come out.
For one of the clues, you could also just copy and paste it to a google search and should get the result immediately.
For real, just seven days and it's Christmas? Well, be quick and join the quiz before that! So far there's 35 people in the game, and I hope you'll be among them soon.
Here is the 2nd set of clues:
1) In game #9 you only fight with nuclear bombs. 2) The 11, 13 and 15 are the only titles of this round that are set in space. 3) Number 20 is a real dinosaur - its first version is from the 1960s. 4) With Title 10 we see an entry of a RTS trilogy for Windows PCs.
Happy holidays to all of you! Are there any presents?? Well of course, here are the final clues.
So far there's 48 people in this round, and three of them from this community.
Here we go:
1) Game #15 has a really long name - 18 characters! 2) Number 6 is not Heroes of Might and Magic. 3) Title 8 has nothing to do with Age of Empires. 4) The #19 was never released on consoles.
Correct #15 confirmed!
It was the last game I figured out...
Now, I'm not sure if I actually submitted all 25 games?... I might resubmit everything before year's end.
I guess I have 3 best quizzes. I missed the first 2, so that’s pretty good. Still don’t know any, I just submitted anyway for the participation points.
Heigh Ho Heigh Ho. It’s off to work (from home) I go.
