After a month's break, here comes Quiz #99... as chosen by you in the last round, it's about board games in digital form - sometimes you'll see direct conversions, and sometimes just titles that where in some way inspired by physical games.
So, similar to the "movie license" or "comic license" quizzes from previous years, you can get a whole lot of points with some knowledge from outside of computer games.
There is also a bonus question: Which board game was used as a background for the intro image?
Half the month is over, fifty players are already in. Not bad, but there's still a lot of room at the table and nobody has scored full points - sit down, grab a dice and join in! ^_^
Here are the first clues:
1) Game 3 is from this decade, the award-winning first title from a new German game company - here we had the video game first, then the board game. 2) Title number 7 is a well-known children's game where you control a hippopotamus. 3) If you like Japanese RPGs, you may have already seen the card game in picture 9. This title is available as an RPG mini-game and as a stand-alone online game. 4) In picture number 14, we see the ps2 spin-off of a strategy series in the form of a virtual board game.
The final week is underway, over sixty players are hoping for as many correct entries as possible... but nobody has reached full points yet! o_O Are you already playing or still waiting for more help? Well, here it is.
These are the last clues:
1) Wii title number 15 was designed with Steven Spielberg. 2) Having sold millions of copies in almost twenty years, many of you will have come across the railway-based game #8. 3) Number 6 is an award-winning classic board game in which you chase a criminal through London. 4) First published in 1989, re-released in 2021 and turned into a computer game in the 90s - game 13 is also a classic!
Today (literally a couple hours ago) me and a group of friends learned how to play a certain card game. Then I come here and recognize it’s #16. How coincidental.
Heigh Ho Heigh Ho. It’s off to work (from home) I go.
How many cards do you still have in your hand? Quick, play all of them! Thursday night this round will be over.
So far almost 100 people have joined, four of them from this forum. Don't stop now!
Time is up and the game is over! Who has brought all their pieces to the finish, has the most victory points and has no cards left in their hand? Scroll down and you'll find the high score list.
Something unusual happened in this round. All games were found out, but not by everyone - nobody scored full points (25+1 bonus) all month long.
The bonus point was awarded for correctly guessing the cover picture, which was of course inspired by the magical board game Jumanji.

Sad only one left, surely someone else can pick up the mantel?
I'm not sure anyone would be willing / crazy enough to manage almost 30 Forums to continue this project. But I can imagine some of the more active communities posting some quizzes of their own!
The last quiz will be posted on the 1st of January - happy holidays everyone! ^_^
@Mr_Horizon 30 forums? You mad man, wish I was following from the first one.
We can but hope someone does something similar in the future
Also, Thank you so much for doing them
