Topic: Legend of Zelda (like) MMO idea

Okay now hear me out if you will. I had the brilliant idea of a Zelda inspired mmorpg with graphics And playstyle both very similar to Windwaker. I know it would be difficult to create but imagine the potential. Unlike WW it would be heavily land based or at least mostly. The fighting style from WW is perfect. You have basic combos that can be mixed and matched by direction. All that's really needed are more fighting styles, weapons, and classes. Since it's not Zelda you wouldn't have to worry about lawsuits or anything. The character creation could be similar to Phantasy Star Universe or Portable. Towns can serve as lobbies and the field could be pretty large. There'd have to be dungeons which means party forming is a must. I recommend parties of 4. That way you could maybe enter formations (four swords) to help solve certain puzzles. Experience would be earned by the kill and items could be found in dungeons and on certain enemy drops. Cartoony colorful graphics could make the creation of characters a lot of fun. If anyone wants to take a shot at this let me know. (sadly I don't have a computer nor have I started to learn coding yet so I can only keep offering ideas and details). If you want to know more about it just ask.

My interest was lost when you said "with graphics like Windwaker."

I dont like my Zelda games looking like South Park.

Wind Waker was awesome, not only because of its graphics.

two things, first off it's not Zelda or really based ok Zelda. Just similar in gameplay. Second thig I don't mean exactly like WW. I don't want the unrealistic proportions (big heads, long arms, etc.) just something to compare I to. TP had the best graphics but trying to make an MMO with 50+ people in a lobby wouldn't work with graphics like that. How would you suggest the graphics be? Sorry for the bad grammar at the end.

boring you say? How? If I bought Zelda was boring I wouldn't be here. Either way, it takes a truly bad game if you can't even have fun playing it with your friends. That's my goal here, something great to play with friends OTHER than fps games and Phantasy star. Any ideas from you?

1. I was searching for Zelda related stuff and it led me here. Counter invalid.
2. Most online gamers have friends or they make them online if they choose. Counter invalid.
3. I hve suggestions too, I also have a blog dedicated to great game ideas. However it seems like you simply aren't a fan of Zelda esque so I can't expect you to like the idea. Opinion has been noted.

But... why do your experiences make mine invalid? I don't like Zelda and don't have friends, and you liking Zelda and having friends does nothing to change my experiences. D:

they invalidate your counters, not your experiences. That simply means that this game isn't for you if your experiences are as you say, to put it simply, you aren't the kind of gamer who would most appreciate this idea.

Buuuuuut... what does coming to this site because you searched for Zelda have anything to do with this game you proposed? D:

they weren't more creative, innovative, or artistic but i liked the realistic Zelda and hyrule much more. It's opinion sure but when I see Majoras mask and OoT if I were to improve the graphics I think they'd look like tp and not ww. I want to see Young Link again in SSB. any thought on the actual topic?
