Just found out that the homebrew megadrive game Peir Solar is on kickstarter to bring an HD version to PC, Mac, Linux, 360 and even Dreamcast, I remember it looked really good but price and availability put me off from getting it, really hoping this comes to steam now, kickstarter page here.
The guys who held a project for Wasteland 2 has started another project for the spiritual successor to the old CRPG, Planescape: Torment, called Torment: Tides of Numenera. It's already met it's lofty funding goal in mere hours of being up, gaining over $1,000,000 now. Might be worth checking out, especially if you're a fan of Planescape.
This sadly isn't an indie game, but I found this interesting documentary project about the pursuit for silence. I personally find it to be interesting. Will scrounge up what I have to fund the minimum at the least.
For video games though, I discovered an experiential video game project called Pulse. It is a game envisioned by people who recently graduated from Vancouver Film school with a game design degree-ish thingy. Heck they already developed the prototype that's available to the public as we speak. It looks promising too.
Road Rash creator Dan Geisler has stated he'll look into creating a new Road Rash game if enough people are keen on the idea.
Geisler made the announcement on Reddit when answering a question about why the series never reappeared, but explained he'd probably have to look to crowd-funding to get the project off the ground.
"It hasn't resurfaced because I was burned out after Road Rash 3," he explained. "But I'm ready to do another one now. I just needed 20 years off.
"I'm ready to make a better one now. I miss playing it too. If there is enough interest, I'll do a Kickstart on it."
He then posted a picture of himself with yesterday's date, effectively silencing critics who were questioning his identity, before continuing, "I am who I say. Road Rash was my baby. I will need to talk with EA to get the rights. But I don't think they have a lock on motorcycle combat any more."
Sunbreak games just announced on their Kickstarter that if they hit the $55000 goal they will port the game to the WiiU eShop, I think the art style looks really charming and it will be interesting how they will implement the touch controls in this game. It still has 7 days left but many things could happen by then.
If you think this game deserves to be in the WiiU eShop go hit the Kickstarter Campaign http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1644707178/buddy-and-me
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Why can't these kind of games come to the Wii U...seriously, they're a perfect fit! (with the touch screen and all)

Looks pretty good...I doubt it will reach its goal, though. Just one week left...
The creator should give demos to youtubers like Two Best Friends, Game Grumps and ProJared. That's what helped Shovel Knight so much (actual gameplay).
Disney reviews written by Neil Sharpson, voiced by Erik Copper and edited by me on my channel! They're hilarious, I can promise you that.

Because PC offers more freedom for the developer. I don't see how touch screen would benefit a game like this any more than a mouse would, anyways.
Road Rash fans might be want to give this project a look its called Road Redemption and aims to bring the Road Rash style of play to today's computers.
The Kickstarter for C-Wars is about to end in 3 days. They have raised $63,301 of their 65,535 3DS stretch goal! It seems like it's just about to make it! Any last minute support would be great since this seems like a game that would fit perfectly on a system like the 3DS! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1054244612/c-wars-rogueli...
Please back this project, the game trying to revive the classic collectathon genre of the 64 days, if you pledge enough money, a wii u version will be a possibility.
It looks as if Wii U is not a stretch goal but the dev is hoping to make it to the platform regardless. I personally want to see it on Wii U

Must've gotten too big at the moment. (Just like a couple of other kickstarter projects unfortunately.) Hopefully if it comes back it'll make a better first impression and get some of the stuff finished for a cheaper asking cost.
The only Kickstarter project I helped fund was the Shadowgate reboot, which succeeded.. Shadowgate is one of my all-time favorite games and the developers have more than proved themselves in my mind.
