Topic: Indie royale (a kind of Humble Indie Bundle)

Today's been released a new type of BUNDLE of INDIE games! It has the main attractions of HIB (No DRM, Crossed platform [Direct downlaod, Desura and Steam)) but it's NOT pay what you want. You have to pay a minimum (which is very low now: 1,46€) and if you go higher you "knock down" the price and it's cheaper. So the price changes now and then . There'll be one every two weeks and it lasts only 4 DAYS!

@reborn Thanks for the news! I'll be checking this site now and then, but as of now, none of these games interest me.

I already have ARES, Sanctum barely runs on my system, and the other games don't interest me. But I look forward to their other bundles coming up.

Gemini Rue was just released on Steam so I will assume a Steam key for it will also get released for it.

I bought the bundle earlier and have all 3 of the available Steam keys redeemed. They were having issues earlier, but it's no scam, they're all fixed now.

They're currently on track to reach their 2nd milestone which is 20,000 bundles sold. If this pace is held for the next 4 days, we'll get all the Sanctum DLC added for free. From what I read, Gemini Rue will be added to our purchase page after the current bundle ends.

Definitely looking forward to new bundles especially if they continue to get Steam redeemable keys for bundle purchasers. It's great that they've announced it ahead of time. I also like the variable minimum purchase amount as bundles continue to get sold. Helps to keep shady resellers and contest vote/subscriber whores from buying penny codes and shorting the devs of hard earned money. Hope the Humble Indie Bundle follows this payment approach in the future too.

It's a shame that I have everything on that list beside Gemini Rue, which I really have no interest in. Also, I'm not going to pay $5+ for two pieces of Sanctum DLC. Unless someone contributes tons of money and knocks the price down significantly, I'm not going to bite.

@Oddy Since the bundle went down to $3.80 and considering that the downloadable .exe files aren't tied to a Steam account, I decided to get the deal. So no, I won't trade anything for the DLC codes. Although I am a bit disappointed that the DLC is just the extra tiles and not the extra maps.

About 36 hours to go and all 4 games (ARES, Gemini Rue, Sanctum and Nimbus) plus 3 Sanctum DLC (Violator, Killing Floor and Penetrator) have redeemable Steam keys. Bundle is currently at $3.50, it may not get cheaper than this, so if you're interested, it might be as good a time as any to buy it.

In less than 17 hours from now the "Difficult 2nd Bundle" will be available to purchase. So, what does everybody think will be included in the bundle? Personally I expect to see Super Meat Boy and VVVVVV in the bundle mostly because of how difficult the games actually are, but I can't quite fathom what the other two games would be. Anyone have any random guesses?

Maybe Bit Trip Beat/Runner or Toki Tori. I've also heard that Binding of Isaac can be pretty frustrating.

Toki Tori isn't that hard. Runner and Beat would sell it for me. I can't wait for the really BIG bundle.
