The first one I must mention is the long fabled Beyond Good and Evil 2, as far as I know it hasn't oficially been cancelled by Ubisoft but the last mention of it was at E3 in 2017 and there isn't any launch window or target platforms maybe I should just write it off as a pipe dream and then there's a new Bioshock all is supposed to be going ahead here with a late 2027 launch date slated for release but I can't help thinking that there's been so little information that the game hasn't permanently been put on hold.
What would you like to see before the end of this generation.
The new Bioshock, Judas, has been dark for quite a while now. Star Wars Eclipse has been dark for about as long, a few years. My most anticipated game, Light No Fire (the No Man's Sky follow up), has been dark for years. Final Fantasy IX Remake was leaked years ago, but we've heard nothing.
With the industry dealing with a post-covid slump, many projects have been quietly cancelled, and not many investors are putting money into development of AA/AAA projects.
