[quote=Adam]Wait, if I were to get a PSP, I wouldn't have to buy it twice, I could play it on there and PS3 since I already got it once? If I read that right, that's awesome.
@Adam... When you buy from the PSN store the game is yours. You can transfer it to 5 PS3 and 5 PSP. I have all my games on both my PS3's and PSP and only paid once. Oh and FF7 is one of the greatest RPGs ever created. The materia system is excellent. Its a little dated nowadays but stil very fun nontheless and clocks in at about 40hrs aside from side missions. Next week we get Metal Gear solid....Cant wait considering My copy got stolen when I was in college along with FF8 Have fun with that game its is awesome. Im going to get it down the road just got to much to play at the moment.

What does it mean that it is "black label"? If the content is the same, you might as well. You might even be able to sell the original to pay for it and make a bit extra. I'd much rather have it digital, especially since you have a PSP, too.
Black label means original release, non-green-label Greatest Hits version....I guess it's worth a little more/more exlusive, same with SotN non-greatest hits. Unfortunately my drunk-at-the-time brother was home from college and stepped on my case...FF7's "black" version now lives in 3 single CD cases.
The PSP use = must-download...I'd get a big memory stick though. I tried playing it remote-play, and I couldn't ever get a good enough connection not to have control-lag. I tried to play R-Type Dimensions and LOL-ed at the delay.

Well, I think it might be time I finally invested in a PSP, maybe. I don't know. Does it actually look any better playing on the machine?
Still, I'd much rather prefer a full remake of the game - there's enough of a market out there to make the project viable.
The only Quibble that I'll have graphics wise with PS1 emulation on the PSP is that it doesn't look identical to what it looks like on a TV screen, it uses a wee bit of dithering, which causes low res text to be a little unreadable, which is annoying. However there are different screen modes for PS1 emulation, for FFVII I use Zoomed mode, yes you do lose a bit of the top and bottom of screen, but at least the text looks less blurry. But like people say, when you buy PS1 games on the PSP, you actually get 2 linences, one for the PSP and another for the PS3, so you can upload the game to your PS3 and not pay any extra, and I believe it'll look better on the PS3.
