I am shocked this guy is super-excited to see Capcom fail.
I'd have expected that reaction from a company like Acclaim or THQ failing (both lasted nearly 20 years which were mostly shovelware), not a company with a AAA history. Just got to look at the recent years?
I can agree that DLC can ruin gamers perception of them, but also stuff like the numerous Mega Man cancellations. Square-Enix is the company that next comes to mind for franchise spam (All the Bravest... and how long since we've had a good Mana game?)
I hate the fact that Capcom is in this Situation but to be honest its mostly their fault and I still like some of their series or Franchises. I don't even mind the Megaman cancellations to be honest. I mean sure they're annoying but with the expectation of Legends 2 all of them probably would have been terrible and the FPS game makes me want to punch someone. Megaman has had a long enough break and should be apart of Capcom's top talent to put out a few games featuring the Blue Bombers namesake.
If I were Capcom my next plans for gaming in general would be
-Getting two Megaman games into development one being a downloadable game and the other being a 3D platformer. Harkin back to the classic and X series if need be. (Hell reboot the classic games using the story from the current Megaman comicbook)
-A sequel to Dragon's Dogma should be being worked on. Its monster Hunter tailored for the western Audience and the first game and its expansion pack were both successful despite coming out in late spring at the end of a console cycle.
-Capcom needs to do more projects like Dead Rising 3 and Deep Down until they can get on steady footing.
-Street Fighter V where is it. If not that than how about putting out a new Darkstalkers or School Rivals game to fill the void.
-Monster Hunter is good where's its at especially with Dragon's Dogma on HD consoles.

1.Bring MH4 to the wii u
2.make mega man game
3.bring Street fighter to wii u
4.Fire everyone who makes up ideas
5.dont make ridicules predictions how much money a game will make
(stop making games to look better then the game next to it, the reason they are expensive because they are trying to make it look good as they can all we want is good gameplay)
6.stop making so many street fighter 4 games damn there is already 5 other Street fighter 4 games.
Playing: Wargroove on Switch and Fire Emblem on GBA
I honestly don't see how bringing more of their franchises to wii u would help capcom really, might help the other way around a bit but not so much capcom.
Well monster hunter 4 did just sell nearly 2 million units in one week in japan alone. While this isn't enough to get them back on track I wouldn't say they are dead or broke.

1. I agree with that mainly because I hate the 3DS screen size for a game like Mon Hunter.
2.Doesn't really guarantee sales
3.But that condriects you saying not to make more street fighter 4 versions
4. That's stupid as Capcom still has guys there who make good games, and desginers still have to be greenlit by upper management
5.They don't/ They look at past games as well as current climates. Games under preforming usally aren't expected when the company thinks their right.
6.You do know that all of the Street Fighter IV versions are optimal and are usually limited print runs for the FGC. All the updates are also usually avaible as downloads to older versions of the series.

They expected Resident Evil 6 to sell over 6 million. And that was after they lowered their expectations. It was still deemed "successful to some degree", but it definitely didn't meet that target. I know games are getting more sales than ever, but they were basically expecting to pull Call of Duty/Halo numbers. I think that's more than a little rediculous.
It says a lot when I can't remember the difference between Resident Evil 6 and Operation Racoon City. I kind of mentally skip over six and think of revalations as the next mainstream game.

They just need to play it safe for a while. They're spending too much in developing AAA titles for franchises that just haven't hit those high sales numbers for too long. Every major console release they've had in the last few years has missed sales targets.
Maybe they should just focus on making 3DS games for the time being, as that seems to be the only platform that's making them money. 3DS games are cheap enough to make and don't require huge development teams. In the meantime, they can go back to R&D and decide on a new direction for their IP, because ignoring Mega Man, turning Resident Evil into generic shooters, and rebooting Devil May Cry sure didn't earn them any new fans.
It would also help if they stopped pissing everyone off with their DLC policies and had an ear for their fans in the West.
On the bright side for us consumers though, Capcom games are bloody always on sale in Nintendo's eShop, lol.
