This thing is an absolute disaster and has been for a while now. It offers no compelling exclusive software or reason to buy and is astonishingly overpriced when compared to what else is on the market. I don't usually wish for things to do poorly but I honestly hope very few people buy this and instead get a more valuable, long term option with their $400 and just buy the Atari collection on Steam for a couple bucks if they really want to play those games.
No, I won't be picking this up as:
1) I have no attachment or nostalgia for Atari.
2) Even if I did, $400 is lot for a console (IMO), that doesn't seem to have a lot of exclusives. At least it has other features other than playing games.
Also, Atari has been going downhill for as long as I can remember. It's bizarre that Midway went out business 10 years ago, yet (somehow) Atari is still around.
Please give Ninjala a chance, guys. 🤔
As @Sunsy said,
Ninjala Gang FOR LIFE!
Also, if I don't respond to your post within a day (or two), don't worry, I'm not ignoring you. I'm going to be busy, though I will do my best to respond in a timely fashion.

@Ninfan
Look at the reply above and also look down for some games included
The console will play more than 100 classic Atari games including Pong, Asteroids and Centipede, and can function as a mini PC that lets users install their own operating system. It also won't come cheap at $390 — that's nearly the price of a $399 PS5 Digital Edition and more expensive than a $299 Xbox Series S.
@Toy_Link
Not even interested by Intellvision games by the slightest.
Remember, i have completely different gaming taste
I didn't grow up by games like that.
There are a number of people who've bought them over on the Atari Age forum, where it's still being actively discussed. By all accounts the build quality is pretty good and, if nothing else, the external design lives up to the hype. It's just somewhat expensive for what you're getting in comparison to mainstream consoles.
As a games console it's pretty much DOA - with poor software support, no real exclusives and it's not really powerful enough for modern AAA gaming anyway - but they're quite customizable and the ability to install your own OS means that anyone with the requisite tinkering skills can set one up as box for emulation, indie games, media streaming/playback.
I doubt they're going to make a huge number of them, so they will probably end up somewhat collectable, like most of Atari's other commercial failures.
@rockodoodle There's always the Atari Flashback if that's what you want. It's nowhere near as nice a package as the NES and SNES Classic but you get a boatload of Atari games for a throwaway price.
