Anyway, I just discovered this series has a manga (well I knew already, but it has been in the depths of my mind) and I am about to read the 2 translated-to-english ones made!
… however, relating to that… the fact Ridley ATE samuss’ parents is FRICKING INSANE. Like, this is Nintendo, your happy-go-lucky company and they put out THIS?! Honestly, I’m genuinely suprised

The Metroid Prime series needs to offer a Virtual Reality experience. I'm disappointed that it wasn't included in any way for the Switch release of Prime, so it dang well better be coming with Prime 4, or something similar very soon.

@gcunit fr, VR metroid prime is something I dream of having one day, I really wish it happens at some point

@DiamondCore This has just got me thinking... can Samus see anything in Morph Ball mode? Would be interesting to see how they interpreted that for VR.

I've only really gotten into Metroid this year with the release of Fusion on NSO (played both the original and Super beforehand but could never get into them) but honestly? I enjoyed it so much that I'm heavily considering playing through the entire series (the 2D side at least) and seeing how it evolved from the NES to today. Probably won't be until next year (kinda banking on Zero Mission arriving on NSO sooner rather than later XD) but now that I can go through 1-5 on a single system? It's definitely something I'm interested in doing at some point (even if I have a....let's just say less than stellar view of the 3 games preceding Fusion).

I desperately want a Metroid movie based on the manga origin of Samus so badly, I don’t care if it is live action or animated, I just need it in my life!

I watched the new turtles animated movie with my son. Really cool, clay-like/drawing type of animation. And Puss in Boots 2 has lower framerate action sequences to cool effect. Modern animation has become so good, if they put a talented team on it and stay true to that Metroid atmosphere and minimalism, it could result in something special.
