@Dpishere: I tried a few of your levels and I have a few thoughts. I think you limit the player's space too much, which makes things needlessly difficult (and for me, less fun). For example, on Undertow Cove, the part at the top of the vine with the spike ball is too difficult because you only get one tile worth of space to fit. There is another section at the zig-zag part with the spiky balls that is just like it.
I noticed on Diddy Kong's rescue you limit the player vertically by making the vines JUST long enough for them to grab after bouncing off the ceiling. I think it would be more fun if the ceiling was higher or the vines were longer.
Maybe you were going to a super high difficulty, but I think giving the player more space will help in your creation of levels for the general population. Feel free to leave sections wide open! This is just my two cents, so feel free to take it or leave it. Overall, I liked the concepts of your levels. There are just a few small tweaks that I think would help them tremendously.
@Captain05crunch: Thanks for your feedback! For Diddy Kong's Rescue I didn't want to make it too easy since the Donkey Kong games in general aren't considered to be too easy so I wanted to simulate that. Are you saying that the level is kind of unfair? And for Undertow Cove I debated with myself back and forth a dozen times trying to decide if those spikes were too hard. Seems I made the wrong decision on that one. I'll start making levels more fair and less cheap. I just thought with enough effort people could handle it.
@Freeon-Leon: I played your level and I could easily feel the love pouring out of it! So many great ideas in the level, and it was just right on difficulty. Loved the inclusion of Yoshi too. No complaints from me.

Bowser has trapped Mario in a dungeon for a test of his skill. Pass all 9 rooms before time runs out! (1ups in all 9 rooms)
It's my tribute to the game 999. Bowser has trapped Mario in a dungeon to test his skills. Can you get through all 9 rooms before time runs out? Careful with your jumping! Some rooms have no floors, and if you fall, you'll have to start back at the beginning. (Once you get to room 6, you'll only be sent back to room 6.) Also, there are 9 1up mushrooms, 1 in each room. (Hence the name of the level.)
Special thanks to my Quality Control Tester who helped me tweak the level so that you didn't get frustrated and wanted to rage quit or throw the gamepad across the room.
Enjoy!
(Edit: There was an earlier version, but it has been deleted, and this has been edited to replace it removing the secrets at the end of each level.)
@Dpishere: I'm not saying it's unfair. I'm saying its tedious, making it less fun. Hitting my head on the ceiling and falling to my death doesn't feel like fun to me. Maybe try to find different ways to make it difficult? Like maybe put a few enemies instead of exceedingly short vines.
@Dpishere: I played your Scrolling Skies level, and it was a lot of fun. I've added you to my list of creators to follow so I can try your other courses.
The name of the level speaks for itself. Haven't played Super Mario Maker for a few days so I wanted to get back into it by making something simple that I hadn't tried before. This is the first level where I haven't added any puzzles or intentionally difficult areas, and I kinda like how it turned out.
Holy smokes. It took forever, but I've finally finished my own World 1! I wanted to spend a lot of time making sure the levels were balanced (and actually good), so my brain refused to let me finish until I was satisfied. Anyway, here's the highlight of the four.
This level has you jumping from note block to note block while piecing together a familiar melody. This took a whole lot of planning, so I hope someone out there enjoys it.
Enjoy a fast drive around the Mushroom Kingdoom. You barely have to do anything. The course has been engineered to do most of it for you. You'll see as you play.
I'm back and with another expertly crafted course. This is my first level to simultaneously incorporate speed running into the design. It can be enjoyed as a regular fun filled level, but, enemies and objects have been strategically placed to allow the player to speed run from start to finish. In fact, If you're good enough you can make it all the way to the flagpole without stopping or slowing down once.
As members here may know already, I'm a huge fan of DKC Tropical Freeze speed running. And that has definitely influenced me with this level. You won't truly appreciate just how ingenious the level design is until you start peeling back the layers with speed running attempts. It's going to take a master class gamer to claim top time on this one. Make no mistake- the level is not overly difficult but to obtain the truly fastest time it's going to take some serious skill.
So please, dig in! You don't have to speed run it- that's the beauty of the design. This level works brilliantly on its own merits, but, it also works brilliantly for a speed run if you so desire.

I know I said I'm done playing Mario Maker (I couldn't keep away, honestly) and you guys have more than enough levels to play, but I'm really surprised just how well this one came out. Give it a try if you'd like!
I would have never guessed Weezing was so useful until I played a HeartGold Nuzlocke! My YouTube Channel! Video game related, of course! My Pushmo Levels
I created a new level (called Music Mario Maestro), where I tried to expand on the idea of music levels, by trying to integrate the music in the platforming instead of pure auto-play.
