In respose from the person who wanted to know if you can play in the USA with someone from U.K. or something. I believe that it is okay. But add me and we'll find out. I probably will be the last one on this forum to actually get it seeing as I'm from california.
I don't enjoying playing games that are easy, but I'm a RE fan that needs my fix for the 3ds. I just payed this game off at Gamestop last night so despite the reviews(which I haven't read yet) I still will be getting this game Tuesday.
I'm thinking off getting it since I had a blast playing online co-op on RE5, and being more of a portable gamer this game may be on my to-get-list. But I am still weary about the game. After reading many impressions, there are quite a number of flaws that may turn me off from buying it(i.e. content, recycled material), but there are also many parts that excites me like the upgrade system. But since I'm a fan of RE and love fast-paced action games so there is a high chance that I'll be getting it in the next few months so please add me.
My 3DS code is in my signature. I don't know exactly what day I'll get Mercenaries 3D, but I will definitely have it by the end of the week. I'll add everyone on this topic later today (can't get wireless access where I am right now).

anyone know if you can use play coins to unlock stuff early? I have like 300 of them and Find Mii and that stupid picture-puzzle stuff aren't even worth the time spent, much less the play coins. It'd be nice to have some use for these things before I max them out...

you unlock weapon sets with game coins (10-15 game coins one set) u need to have unlocked the character so u can buy his weapons to use them with diferent character

oh nice man--so it's actually "required" to use game coins (as in, you can't get this content any other way) in this case? If so, I'm down--I was hoping more games would tie the use of them in like that.

Did anyone see the reviews to this game? Two unknown game companies to me gave them rally high scores, an 85% our of 100% and a 5/5 from another. But, IGN, gave it a 6.5 our of 10. Wondering if it's worth getting??? Anyone have it yet that can let the rest of us know if it's worth getting?
I read several reviews and honestly most were positive. IGN seemed to be the only one who didn't really like it. I think its more for the hardcore fans of resident evil. I'm still getting it. I don't know why they are beating up the graphics. This is easily the most impressive game on the 3DS and probably will be for a while. Also they are beating up the fact that horror is barely in it. I don't know how the rest of you feel but I don't think this game is considered to be a horror. It seems like more of an action title which is what the 3DS really needs right now. Remember the worst thing they voted on in the IGN review was the menues . . . Why? I don't care about the menus I care about gameplay and they scored that moderatly high. So yeah I'm on my way to get . . . for the rest of you - to each his (or her) own.
Thanks, i was leaning more to what you were saying, just wanted to get someone elses opinion. I did notice that IGN mentioned that the graphics are the best so far on the system and the gameplay rocks. I aslo caught that about the menus, which makes no sense on giving it a bad score just cause of that. I'll be getting the game later on myself, see you online in the near future.
Got the game and took it for test run. Framerate is pretty cool but enemy animation can look pretty laggy in 3-D mode. But other than that it runs smoothly. Graphics are very good and nothing is wrong so far on the menus. So far I'm having a good time.
