Bah, got bored. @Peach Sucks that we couldn't end up playing.
So I figured out something really cool. Remember @Jay@Tech@Subtle that time when we did those back to basics hunts with low armor/weaps and item restrictions and so on? Here's a new improved version I thought of:
Revas's Primeval Hunt Challenge!
Not for the faint of heart!
Requirements:
Weapons and armor must be RARE3 or below (white, purple, yellow). Gun frames must not be upgraded.
You may use any Talisman with your equipment.
You may only bring 1 page of items (8 items) with you, as shown below. Gunners can bring an extra page of ammo of their choice.
Any other items you need will have to be gathered, carved, mined, fished or caught. Want Mega Potions? Gather Honey and combine it with your Potions.
Do not take any items from the Supply Box in Camp except for Torches. (Yes, no Maps either. Get Farsight if you want to see the whole map. )
In the options menu, HUD and Map must be turned OFF. This means by default you won't be able to see where you and your teammates and painted monsters are, what your HP/stamina/oxygen/sharpness/weapon charge is like, or what item you've selected.
Quests can be Harvest Tours for random enemies or large monster hunts, preferably unstable.
Initial item list: 1. Potion x 10 2. Cool Drink x 5 3. Hot Drink x 5 4. Whetstone x 20 / Huskberry x 99 5. BBQ x 1 / Double BBQ x 1 6. Any Pickaxe x 5 / Any Bugnet x 5 / Any Harpoon x 5 / Any Bait x 5 7. Item of your choice^ 8. Item of your choice^
^ Slots 7 and 8 may not have any type of health-restoring item in them apart from Herbs, Herbal Medicine or Health Horns.
Hope that sounds fun to you guys. I'd love to try it out some time. This way you really have to be careful about the 2 items you can choose, and also with your armor skills. Having HUD and map off makes a really huge difference when you play - but don't try it out until we do this challenge ok? Maybe we could try it tonight? And we don't have to do Harvest Tours, they tend to be kinda slow and boring. We could do hunts instead.
Anyway, I'm getting on now, and probably for the rest of the day, so if anyone gets on and needs some help/wants to help me, todays the day. /me gulps down doubleshot
well not yet, but I will momentarily I really hope just one of these things will work, so I don't have to drive down and get a 5hr energy...
