To be honest I forget some of the digital stuff I buy as ill buy anything when its super cheap
I did recently manage to grab a good condition physical copy of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 for £25. This game has been a pain in the butt as I played it a few years ago as my nephew had it, but every time id see a copy either the copy would look like absolute rubbish or they'd want far too much for it second hand, actually have never seen a new copy for RRP.
I bought Steam Hearts bundle from Playasia, fantastic gem. The 80s anime is oozing from this. The worst part is there are no english subtitles so I know about 1/3 of what is going on from my beginner Japanese
But still, it's one of those things you just want to play
Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes
I've had quite the quiet spell since the Switch 2 transition started getting closer. Been a strange time for me, having never gone anywhere near the numbers I've reached with Switch before, to now find my insatiable appetite waning somewhat. Leaves me kinda pondering where I'm at in my gaming life. I always thought the Switch 2 was a potential jumping off point, but to now actually feel like, 'Woah, I've jumped off - what do I do now?' is slightly discombobulating.
Anyhow, I've somewhat jumped back on the house this week, ordering/acquiring the following:
The Messenger - very satisfying to be able to get this for £23 after seeing it on triple digits via resellers for so long.
Sea of Stars - was not sold on this from the demo, so I've patiently waited for it to drop in price a bit. Still looks like it justifies a place in my Switch collection, but I also find the artwork on the front cover of the box off-putting, so whenever i do get round to this one, it might have its work cut out to win my heart.
The Hundred Line - Last Defense Academy - been umming and arring about biting the bullet on this and importing. Have a hunch it might get a PAL release at some point, but decided not to risk it.
Guilty Gear - Strive - this has had a decent discount this week, which I'd been waiting for.
Shadow Labyrinth - I decided to pre-order this as the same retailer that I was getting Guilty Gear from, that I get a slight discount at, had this at the best price available thanks to a pre-order discount code. Interested to see how this turns out.
Also had a couple of Limited Run orders be delivered in the last week or so: Castlevania Dominus Collection Penny's Big Breakaway Yakuza Kiwami
TheGameCollection was doing extra reward points on the following, effectively knocking £10 off the price of each: Tales of Graces f Remastered Metal Slug Tactics Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream
Also found The Raven - Remastered and Pepper Grinder fairly cheap, and been wanting to check them out.
Is my Switch wishlist finally getting shorter? Possibly... But I always think that after a spendy week or so.
If it counts, the Switch 2 (specifically the Mario Kart World bundle). Finally managed to snag one via Target's website yesterday morning. It's set to arrive at my workplace tomorrow (fortunately, my employer allows us to have personal packages shipped to our workplace). I had it shipped to work under the belief that it would arrive on Wednesday, since I am currently on a five-day weekend (Friday through Tuesday), but now that they're saying Monday, I'm wondering if I should have had it shipped to my house instead.
Sadly, it might be too late to have it changed to have UPS hold it at one of their facilities, given that they usually ask for 72 hours advance notice. But then again, my supervisor said that they would hold my package for me, so I can always pick it up when I go back to work on Wednesday. Or maybe I can have my girlfriend, who is also a coworker, drop it off at my house, assuming that is allowed by our employer. If she does, I can always get her a Switch 2 in the event that Nintendo sends me an invitation to buy one directly from them.
@gcunit sea of Stars is a great RPG in the style of Chrono trigger (not a time travel thing but similar vibes) and a couple years ago it was accidentally involved with drama around a guest NPC character of 'gerard the completionist' and some possibly shady charity thing he was involved in, so sea of Stars did an emergency update wiping his NPC from the game.

@Yousef- Just so you are aware, Mizuchi is a Yuri/Lesbian visual novel. The story was interesting, playing with the Japanese (the game vaguely represents a few East Asian cultures on purpose) concept of becoming a dragon/god and what it means to be human. But there are no male love interests. I do wish there were more choices/flags (especially since I kept getting a bad ending) but the story was entertaining enough as I uncovered the backstory of the two love interests. While I got the ending I want I am going to try again for the second love interest.

Sick! I don’t typically go outside of manga with GLs, but I’ve read Seabed, and it was one of the best romance stories I’ve read but that was ten years ago and it became harder for me to find decent romances, especially same-gender romance (or, I just don’t know where to look!). Another I should check out was about WWII… but the name escapes me.

Some fun concepts, shame about lack of options but I played enough otomes to feel content with the number of guys I hung out so a change of pace would be neat.

Alright, so this obviously doesn’t qualify for this thread, but it’s been a year since I bought any games at all, and hey, Sony brought in that one horizon game to switch sooo, never say never I guess? xD
The Hundred Line: Last Defence Academy, tried the demo and loved it but held off for a bit before getting it recently.
Also picked up the new dlc for Skateboard Drifting with Maxwell Cat: The Game Simulator.
