Was waiting the last few years for absolutely everything to be on the cart. I specifically asked to see the box and it was revised to reflect the two additional sports. No updates required!
Though it wasn't really worth the wait. There's so little personality to the game. Even when using Miis, the Miis themselves are a lifeless afterthought, and virtually all of the character customisation pieces are locked behind the online mode, which is incredibly scummy. The controls also felt far less responsive than they were on the Wii.
Nevertheless, I'm glad to have it and there was still some fun to be had, but I felt it to be a monumental step down from Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, which is a shame.

@SillyG yeahhhh, switch sports can be quiye underwhelming in features, but its great to play with friends and family, and online can be rewarding. good for you getting the revised version, mustve been tough 😺 hopefully Switch 2’s version of wii sports is better since theyve had a while to work on it, i bet mouse controls will be fun with that haha

I was looking to play more Mario games, after all what is the point of getting a switch, if you pass on Nintendo Exclusive games like Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid etc. and Mario Odyssey is considered the best Mario game on Switch so i grabbed it. Better late than never. lol
I am into all kinds of Zelda games. I believe Skyward Sword was originally a Nintendo Wii game. I don't have a Wii, i am only into hand helds. This is the remasted switch edition of Skyward Sword, or may be it is not even remastered. lol

It was very late purchase of Mario games on Switch as I have very low hype with 2D Mario games unless I found cheaper price of used games.
I finally caved and bought Sonic Origins; it's on sale for 70% off the original price. I think I now have 3 different ways to play Sonic 2 on Switch...4 if I ever subscribe to NSO expansion pack.

Those first three are on sale for under £2 each so seemed like no-brainers. A Year of Springs is not on sale but I liked the sound of it from the recent 'Games We Missed' article and it's fairly cheap anyway. NWC is on sale for £16 instead of 25, which honestly still seems a bit steep compared to the other games I bought but it's a Nintendo game so it will probably never get cheaper than that.

@FishyS civilization VII runs well on switch considering that's it's a civilization game and made for decent powered PCs. The only issue I have with it (i bought it and was able to play it five days before everyone who didn't preorder it) is the map size selection is limited to small and tiny (possibly duel size if in multiplayer, but haven't tried to multiplayer game yet).
However firaxis/2K have released in the eShop the 10$ upgrade pack for the upcoming switch 2 version of civilization VII. The switch 2 version (or switch 1 version with the upgrade pack) will have the same map size options (tiny, small, normal large and huge)and AI/human number of opponents. The switch 1 version allows up to 6 players at once ( you and 5 AI or you and 5 friends in multiplayer) the switch 2 or upgrade pack version will allow up to 10 I believe it is players and/or AI opponents.
