@yoshi420 good luck with metroid prime, its such a good game, and deserves more recognition honestly. the only thing i was annoyed by was the backtracking for stuff. also graphics are really impressive for switch, beautiful landscapes. i hope you enjoy 😸 ive been meaning to play kirby and the forgotten land for a while now, but the cute pink puff just hasnt floated to my switch yet!

In honor of the loss of gold points, I decided "oh, why not just buy a few things on sale?" So I got:
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Expansion
20XX
I've played a lot of Monster Hunter Rise (still need to get to HR 50 to fully finish the game) , and I'm a huge Mega Man fan, and I've heard 20XX is a pretty good game. I've also heard it's sequel, 30XX, is really good. So I might play that a little now, and maybe a more in-depth playthrough later. We'll see. Not sure when I'm getting back into Rise.
@MarioVillager92 It's ironic you bought Gravity Circuit cause of this. Back in 2023, I had a helping of gold points because of the Wii U/3DS Eshop closer. I bought Gravity Circuit on sale, and honestly probably paid for at least half of it with gold points. It's a great game, basically a Mega Man (Zero) clone with a Nitrome-ish art style. Hope you love.

@konicstar Lol, yeah I forgot that game even existed so I went ahead and looked deeper into Nintendo's sales page and that's how I got it. Plus I like Mega Man (and the Zero series as well). I'm liking the game quite a lot, thanks for checking in.
@OctolingKing13 I still have some gold coins left over, but I'll definitely make sure to use them. I didn't start Okami just yet, but I'll be sure to talk about it when I get some progress in. I do have a friend who really likes the game.

Xenoblade Chronicles X and Mario Party Jamboree. A friend of mine wants to play the newest Mario Party with me. So, I'm like what the hell? I might as well get a voucher and get Xenoblade X along with it.

Found a used copy of Kirby and the Forgotten Land for 30 euros. I've been meaning to get that game ever since it came out, and since they announced that Switch 2 will get an upgraded version of it with a new DLC, I figured it'll be cheaper to try and find a reasonably priced copy of the Switch 1 version and buy the upgrade/DLC separately. Even if the upgrade ends up costing 20 euros, it's still cheaper than getting a Switch 2 version of the game for 70 or 80 euros.
There's a partner showcase sale going on right now, so with the help of the rest of my gold points, I got Portal Companion Collection for $3.65 total. Been waiting for this since I played co-op Portal 2 with my friend on his ps3.

Was waiting the last few years for absolutely everything to be on the cart. I specifically asked to see the box and it was revised to reflect the two additional sports. No updates required!
Though it wasn't really worth the wait. There's so little personality to the game. Even when using Miis, the Miis themselves are a lifeless afterthought, and virtually all of the character customisation pieces are locked behind the online mode, which is incredibly scummy. The controls also felt far less responsive than they were on the Wii.
Nevertheless, I'm glad to have it and there was still some fun to be had, but I felt it to be a monumental step down from Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, which is a shame.
Porygon did nothing wrong.
