Yes, I booted it up a couple days ago for some practice rounds. It was a birthday gift from a friend who wanted to lure me into it since it has crossplay and he needed another skilled player on his team. ^^
I never lost a game so far, but I can't get around the menus (didn't bother too much with it yet). I wasn't able to figure out how to change cars or how to play local multiplayer splitscreen. How can I access the Metroid car? And does every local (multi)player need a registered Nintendo account?
@SKTTR Select "Garage" from the main menu of Rocket League. That's where you customize your car. You pick the body and all the other stuff. Metroid car should be in there.
I think Rocket League makes you register your nintendo account? At least for online matches. I think that's how they let you use the same profile on other platforms.
To play splitscreen: From main menu, select PLAY, then LOCAL, EXHIBITION. You select number of players in there. Or just after you hit CREATE MATCH. I'll go boot it up to set up a 2 player split screen to refresh my memory for how to set it up.
Training is your friend. Make sure to try the training stuff.
@SKTTR OK for splitscreen multiplayer on your console,
MAIN MENU/PLAY/PLAY LOCAL/EXHIBITION ...Then you'll see EXHIBITION MATCH page. Options: game mode, arena, team size, bot difficulty, CREATE MATCH. On this page, you'll see at the bottom of the screen "PRESS (+) TO JOIN". That's how/where player 2 joins. After you hit create match, You can each select which team, blue or orange. You can play as a team or VS each other.
