Nintendo is not going all-digital any time soon. This is only anecdotal of course, but many parents I know who buy Switch games for their children only buy physical and don't even know you can download games.
The Problem with Digital is only the account that buys it can only download it. Others on the same unit can play it but they have no control of how or what happens to the game. Only the Account holder has control of the game. This puts more hassle on the parent to monitor more then they have to already.
