@subpopz I will wait. I know that it is almost impossible since the game in the Nintendo official site has the sticker about the download but I have little hope.

The game is almost 14 gigs, it MUST be ALL on the cartridge! It just MUST! How can they be cheap like that!

@Zuljaras Unfortunately for Nintendo Switch owners, this seems to be how the norm will be going forward with third party publishers. And this I think will lead to fewer sales as it’ll put people off buying said games.

@FragRed How can that be the norm when Bethesda made Skyrim and Doom run from the cartridge without any problems!

@Zuljaras Well only half of Doom was on the cart and you had to dl almost 9 gigs day one to play multiplayer and dl a patch. Anyways you look at it eventually you had to dl that extra data. Now Skyrim happen to fit all on one cart without a problem.

@Spoony_Tech Yes but Doom is playable from the cart. From start to finish. The MP is just an extra. Just like the Zelda DLCs.

@Zuljaras True but you get no motion controls and no patches to fix the sound bug either. So either way you look at it 99% of people will dl it anyways.

I'm interested in this as I don't yet have a FPS for my Switch and I find it more thematically appealing than DOOM, but from what I understand Bethesda shooters have an old school difficulty which kind of makes me cautious.

Last FPS I played was HALO Anniversary on 360 a couple years ago which I really enjoyed, but I think I only got through it because of it's generous checkpoint system, lol (I like a modicum of challenge and play most games, including HALO, on Normal, rather than Easy or Hard difficulties, but don't like getting sent too far back when I die).

@RR529 I played Doom on normal all the way through and it got hard at times. Had to re-due 1 boss a number of times but they also have a generous check point system. I would assume Wolfenstein 2 is about the same but you may have to switch to easy here and there.

Is it true this 12,2 GB game ships on an 8GB cartridge with the rest to download? Or is it a 4GB cartridge?

How long does the campaign on the first game take? I need to play it still. This will be a day one purchase.

hi, i got a question – maybe somebody can help me out: since the German, and I assume therefore also the Swiss version, is censored (no swastikas), i am planning on buying the unaltered UK edition. Since the game requires a download and my account is tied to the swiss eshop, will this work, or will i have to add a profile for the UK eshop in order to download the additional files (i assume multiplayer)?

@slaine There is no multiplayer. You're dl'ing the rest of the game so I personally would suggest dl from the same region you bought it from.

@SKTTR probably like how only so much of a card is actually usable , a 8GB might only hold 5.7GB of data
