In my case i can think of three ips:
-golden sun being the medieval project from monolith soft.
-kid icarus uprising being the 3d action remaster bandai namco is working.
-F zero being made by another bandai namco team.
@GameOtaku I think that murasame castle is the most likely of the three ones that you mentioned, mainly because of Nintendo interest on the franchise since Nintendo land.
I think it'll be one of the more casual IPs like Nintendogs. We've seen Nintendo revive Brain Training, Big Brain Academy, Clubhouse Games, Wii Sports and Wii Fit as well as gave Miitopia a second life within the past 3 years so Nintendo does still have some interest in the Blue Ocean space.
I would say Nintendo Land given how Nintendo likes to bring the Wii U's library to Switch but technically Nintendo's already revived that but in real life (Super Nintendo World).
It’s time to bring Mario Baseball back. Not sure if they could get Namco to do it, but I would love the Switch to be the first Nintendo platform since the Game Cube to get entries in all four Mario Sports series- we already have Tennis and Golf, and Strikers is just a couple months away. I’d love to see Baseball return.
My guess right now, if anything, is that the rumored Kid Icarus Uprising remaster/remake is happening. And it HAS been a decade since that one, singular game that itself was a long ignored franchise even at the time so...I think it counts.
The Mario and Luigi series. I think the praise that goes to the old paper Mario games really deserves to go to Mario and Luigi. It is the definitive Mario rpg series. But I fear poor sales of the bowsers inside story remake might have put the nail in the coffin for that deities. Even though that remake was doomed to fail from the beginning.
