Topic: What kind of game would you want on the Switch?

I loved the BIG series of sports games the EA did back in the GameCube days, so we need more games like that.
More racing games like Need for Speed Underground, Sega Rally, V Rally, Micro Machines.
Pretty much anything Sega put into the arcades.
I like some shooters, 1945, Metal Slug, Isolted Warriors, Virtua Cop, House of the Dead.

Open Mario
Open Zelda
Metroid Prime
Xenoblade
Pokemon

• All of my favourite games - the switch has them all already.

First person story/quest/character based RPGs.

In my case:

• NHL game (I hope that good FIFA sale will make possible to release NHL),
• Bayonetta 1 & 2,
• Gangster sandbox port (ex. GTA San Andreas or Saints Row 3-4),
• Panzer Corps,
  and above all: Diablo-like game (ex. Torchlight 2 port).

A new Panzer Dragoon game, I find it very fascinating, but I never had the chance to try one properly. Hopefully they could do a decent job with a new one, or at least they could just create a remake of the first one.

A semi-multiplayer dungeon crawler that keeps you free to go wherever with loot and stuff to find in a vast world.
And a hack and slasher like spartan: total warrior was on the gamecube. Not the warriors type thing.

Also, more mr. shifty - that is one fun game to play.

I played the Miitopia Demo. I'm hooked. I want this game on Switch. ^^

Also, I second Endless Ocean 3. The first two on Wii were so tense and atmospheric, I loved them.
Endless Ocean 1 & 2, next to Wind Waker, were the first (3D)-Nintendo games that had an openworld feeling, even though it was mostly underwater, and the atmosphere and graphics were just fantastic. I would even buy a HD remaster of 1&2.

I find I don't play too many in handheld mode. I drive so only fit in mobile gaming at lunch time if I can get away with ignoring others for an hour... 😋
I've been playing a bit of NBA Playgrounds which is quick I feel like I can achieve something in a short amount of time (despite the load times!!). But I would like something similar which others can pick up quickly so as few buttons as possible to make a fun arcade sports game would be my vote.
I want other genres too but I think most are being catered for so far or in the near future at least.

I'm ashamed to say that I missed out on the Metroid Prime Trilogy the first time around - a collection of those games to whet my appetite for MP4 would be great!

..I'd also like a GoldenEye-esque first-person shooter with a decent campaign and local & online multiplayer - what can I say? I'm a dreamer!

I tried Luigi's Mansion : Dark Moon on the 3DS and was very surprised! I would LOVE a new one on the Switch.

I am also hoping for a new Mario Party, Axiom Verge, Shantae, (half-genie hero was pretty nice), Metroid Prime (which was announced).

I would love an FPS/mixed style game like Devil's Third (I personally really enjoyed it!) or the Darksiders serie (but more puzzles and less repetitive).

The Nintendo Switch also need a Need for Speed Underground (1 and 2) type game!!

I have never been able to like RPG games...your turn...my turn...ouh my turn again....your turn... I prefer real action battle.

@FrankoAmmo it was a long wait between the launch title on the GameCube and dark moon. I would love to see another one set in something like a disused theme park.

I get what you mean about turn based games, but I'd be all over a new advance wars. I tried fire emblem but for me not as good.

@Chris77 the advance wars were actually great games. I would also like a game like Desert Storm on the Gamecube it was interesting.

But I also want a good action game in the lines of God of War (not GOW4) or Bayonetta. I'm one of the few who loved Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on the PS3. A game like that would be awesome for me.

Also, although I don't like first-person shooters too much, I do like third-person shooters. A game with the same point of view as Splatoon but more "adult" oriented and with single play as the main focus and multiplayer as a bonus (not the other way around, like Splatoon) would be awesome.

I think that if they find some VERY good developers they could make a new Castlevania game as good as the best God of war games (my favourite one is by far God of war 2, a true masterpiece imo). We will never have God of war 2 on a Nintendo console, but there would be no problems with a Castlevania game and Castlevania really has the potential to be that good (and very similar too).

I would like path of radiance, never played that one and would like to play it first before I tough radiant dawn.
Other than that I would like to see advance wars return, even though I am a fan of fire emblem there has been too much coming out these days, I am not complaining but advance wars would be nice to mix things up a bit.
Other than that I would like good mario sports resort which should include fully fleshed out games based on wave race, 1080 etc.

I personally want the next Rhythm Heaven installment but I'm fine waiting for that. What I want most is to see more new IPs from Nintendo since nearly all of them manage to catch my interest while also catching me a little off-guard which I like.

Also, I don't particularly want them but at the same time, I'd like to see fleshed out Mario Sports games come back if only just to prove Nintendo is capable of them again. Lately all their sports games have had about zero personality and I miss the old Camelot games on the Gameboy Colour/Advance.
