I agree with everything you said on Ray tracing bar one point. It's not a fad. It's a pretty important transition and is the holy grail of rendering. It has been the go-to technique for rendering for feature films since GC was even a thing for a reason
Its value in games is somewhat diminished by how good everyone has got at "cheating" the effect. This is true. And the hardware/software for it is significantly less mature in addition to generally less silicon being dedicated to it. Especially on lower power cards and in particular on AMDs product
But it's not a fad. It matters.....
...... just maybe not now and certainly not on ~10W mobile SoCs

Pokémon Company/Nintendo after the severals techinal isseus of Pokémon Scarlet e Violet, this is a problem for the next fiscal trismestrer, i more concered in yay money for me, f***k yours worry/concerns about the game
Idk what kind of player you are, but if you're going in expecting a purely linear experience I don't think you'll get the most out of Bayonetta 3. You can definitely play it that way, but you'd be missing a lot of what makes the game so great, imo.
This entry has a lot more open levels with exploration. It's still linear progression but less hallway, more open areas that funnel you forward, with various branching paths to secrets.
I encourage you to look for the Toad, Crow and Cat in every level, find all the challenge rooms, and generally just explore as much as possible looking for secrets.
Having beaten Bayonetta 3, I'm back to Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, which is perfect timing since it just got a massive content drop with Title Update 3. What a game. 700 hours in and I still haven't even done half the quests in the expansion.

@JaxonH when i play my games i usualy do 100% or try to do 100% on them, i friend of mine told me, Bayonetta 3 is more like a semi-open world game, like the 3D sandbox Mario games(i style of gameplay i love).
how does vitality/magic work in Bayonetta 3? you simply collect the broken moon pearl/Witch heart to increase Viola/Bayonetta vitality/magic? or do i need to do more?, why theres a full Witch heart and a Witch Heart with 4 parts?i assume full Moon Pearl and 2 part of Moon Pearl? they changed how you collected this vital itens?

Heh... heh heh... I don't know if you'll be 100% this game. There's a LOT to do. And there's a Platinum ticket you can buy after beating the game for 1 MILLION Orb thingies, which is a lot, like... a lot and then you have to fight Rodin, which unlocks his weapon in the shop for... wait for it... 10 MILLION ORB THINGIES.
Not to mention, a true 100% would require a pure platinum on every verse and chapter. That's mastery. And then doing it on Hard mode and the unlocked Climax difficulty which states, "the decision to attempt this difficulty should not be done lightly". Even getting Pure Platinums on every verse in Normal feels impossible to me. I couldn't even imagine doing it 2 difficulty ranks higher.
Unless you mean in a collectible/exploration sense. That's doable. Still a lot, but definitely doable.

@JaxonH i meant 100% in a exploratory/collective sense, i will try to get a good rank in this game too, i have been praticing for this game, in the Switch version of Bayonetta 2, since the release of this game, 1 milions Orbs? is not 99 milions Seeds? the game main currency, Orbs is used for the Skill tree.
I think Nintendo is going back to the two-line model. They'll have a Switch line. And within the next couple of years, they'll debut a VR line.
I see them announcing a "Switch Pro" in March. "Pro" because it will run the same games as the Switch. Games won't be exclusive to it, in the way that a Switch 2 would have exclusives that wouldn't run on the Switch. The Switch Pro will launch in May alongside Tears of the Kingdom, both on it's own and as a bundle.
I think Nintendo will enter the VR market next. Considering their love of accessibility, I think their VR device will be cordless, like the Quest. When exactly they'll launch a VR console is hard to say. Certainly next holiday at the earliest. But holiday 2024 is a decent guess. Holiday 2025 at the latest.
@Giancarlothomaz
Ya I can't remember the names. Whatever the currency is.
@Gryffin
I very seriously doubt Nintendo is going into VR. I understand there were a lot of hopes of its potential, but I think the evidence has shown it will remain a niche market. It's why Microsoft has not pursued it, it's why Nintendo only dabbled with it for one weird LABO entry, and it's why even the most successful VR systems have still barely sold 5 million units over their lifespan, which equates to over 95% of the PS audience not being interested
Chasing VR would almost certainly be a Wii U sized blunder, and they can't afford another one of those. There's just not a big enough market for it, and it's too incompatible with traditional games.

So, I just sent a pair of my joycon to get metal latches swapped out for the stock plastic latches. They wear over time to the point the joycon don't stay clasped in place and can push off the rail.
Only $12 total for the pair! That includes shipping there AND shipping back. I know it's not that complicated to do but a 4 pack is $10 anyways. Why not have someone else do it who's experienced and will get it right without losing the spring or borking it.
They also do drift repair for $12 (including shipping there and back). I know Nintendo offers it for free, but if you have anything customized (such as a d-pad like I do), Nintendo isn't an option.
I highly recommend these latches. They're metal so they don't wear- your joycon will clasp in place properly with these, but they're also brittle enough to still break if the system is dropped (which is a good thing- better for the latch to break than the rail on the Switch).
You know a lot of people have bought a Switch on Black Friday when you see MK8 Deluxe suddenly soar very quickly up the eshop charts (it went from like 20th to 6th in the space of 1 day). The big Switch hardware deal is Switch + MK8 Deluxe (digital) + 3 months NSO so all those hardware sales will contribute to MK8 Deluxe eshop rankings.
I got my refund for Pokemon and I still have the game. I deleted it but I still have it re-downloadable when they said they'd remove it from my account, did it miss hear them or what?
@Kermit1Pineapple Did you check your eshop balance to see whether it actually increased? If it did increase, it may be the same situation as what happened to that person who was able to play Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp on April 8th.
