Talk to me. Tell me about it. Bayonetta 3 has put me in a high-action combat mood, and with the excellent Switch port of SIFU I picked it up, but haven't really started it yet.

Was thinking lower difficulty as I hear it can be brutal.

@Budda is to fix some bugs(nothing major, just some bugs/glitches fixes).

I've just had one of the roughest experiences of my entire Switch life and I feel like I need a place to vent because OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH I'm mad.

So if you've been paying attention to my posts over the last month, you'll know that my main Switch has had a nasty error code pop up whenever I'm trying to transfer over screenshots/videos. Considering how it was still within warranty, I decided to bite the bullet and just send it away to be repaired since it'd be free anyway. So I go through the repair process on Nintendo's official site, place in how it came about, what the error code is, package the Switch in a box with the receipt and then....wait.

A few days go by. Annoying, but it's to be expected.

A week goes by. OK....this is a bit strange.

THREE WEEKS GO BY and I am starting to get fed up. Pokemon's out in 2 weeks and this thing was meant to be gone almost a month ago. At this point, me and my dad try to get in contact with Nintendo Support in order to see where the hell these couriers have gone. They respond: 'Oh, our apologies: it would appear as though we never actually sent them to your address'.

ARE YOU F***** KIDDING ME.

They say they're going to re-send the request to UPS to pick it up as me and my dad stand on the line in utter disbelief. Regardless, we take a deep breath in and decide to just wait it out.

ANOTHER WEEK GOES BY AND NOTHING.

At this point, my dad, fed up with this absolute nonsense, rings UPS themselves and asks what the hell is going on. And within half an hour? The courier grabs my Switch and drives away into the sunset.

Moral of the story: if you're having issues with a system needing to be sent away for repairs, contact the ones taking it away in the first place and not the company who you originally alerted the issue to in the first place. Jesus Christ man: what a mess.

@Fizza Darn, postal systems really need to step it up. Hopefully you can get your Switch back (or did you get it back).

@Kermit1Pineapple Literally sent away today, with it being expected back in about 3 weeks-ish. Guess I'll try and play SV on this crusty 2018 Switch until then?

@JaxonH Hey. Played is subjective lol. I did the tutorial (which was fun since you play the bad guy which was different) but at the start there is a training mode and I have been camped in there working on my timing and weapon work. But it’s so fun and feels weighty. Timing has a realistic window but you can recover quickly and it is very fluid but not in the gamey/supernatural way. It lines up with your hand movements so muscle memory is quick to imprint. I know you gain skills as you go but I hate playing games with good combat poorly.

Hi, you will not care at all for this upcoming "My life with the Switch" Story, but its late at night, I am watching the Star Trek Blu Ray on Xbox and I need to do something that helps me forget about my terrible life choices, so here it goes.

My physical copy of Violet will arrive tomorrow, but my hype is really down and I am looking into what I could buy instead lol. Honestly I really feel like that the Lets Go Games will be the best Pokes on the system when we go over to the next one. They are just so harmless and wholesome.

I am thinking about getting TSMV, Luigis Mansion 3 and Ultra Street Fighter 2 at the upcoming sale, I just hope they'll be on sale at all. Bayonetta 3 is also appealing but I always sucked at the first two games collecting Stone Statues in the process lol, so I might just watch it on youtube. Anyways getting those three will complete my digital "these are the games I care for on Switch" Collection.

Never been a Xenoblade guy, I never really cared for Splatoon. I am missing Mario Odyssey in my digital list, and I loved it to death back when it came out, back when I thought collecting cartridges for a mobile platform would make sense, but I also feel like that I would never ever replay it so buying it again just to have it look pretty on the list of games would be kind of a bad choice.

2023, I am looking forward to Fire Emblem Engage, a new Fatal Frame in March (finally) and Zelda in May (please have real dungeons). 1 big game every two months is fine by me. Oh well, time to get some sleep. Tomorrow is pokemon day.

I can relate.

I spend hours in the training room in Monster Hunter Rise practicing new weapons or mastering a new weapon, various combinations of switch skills, etc. I like to know what I'm doing rather than go out on a hunt and be clueless cause I don't know my weapon.

Combat looks good though. I'll get to it eventually. Got the Switch collector edition on order too. Wasn't planning on it originally but after seeing reviews showing its a grade-A, top-shelf port, couldn't resist.

I’ll second that. I’m not enjoying the narrative currently but the actual gameplay is strength to strength. The art direction follows a specific theme as all Bayo games do but it isn’t bland. With the game play styles between characters they used that as an excuse to stuff more set pieces into the game.

And we just learned Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak gets its Title Update 3 on November 24th (Thanksgiving Day! Next Thursday!).

• Risen Kushala Daora (with new armor and weapons)
• Risen Teostra (with new armor and weapons)
• Chaotic Gore Magala (with new armor and weapons)
• Followers can now join any Master Rank Quests! ANY QUESTS! Not just the small selection of "Follower Quests" as has been the case up until now. This means the entire game of Sunbreak can be played with AI partners for a full hunting party! That's insane!
• New plushy monster weapons as paid DLC
• New Augment choices
• Tons of new event Quests with layered armor and other rewards
• Anomoly Rank increased to Level 200!

This game is truly the ultimate Monster Hunter experience. Nothing else even comes close to touching it. And they're not even done yet. Roadmap says another Title Update is coming in winter 2023 and a final Title Update in Spring 2023.

Bit surprised Pokemon Scarlet/Violet reviews haven't gone live yet when the game's 2 days away from release. Does this usually happen? I vividly remember PLA reviews coming out about 3-4 days prior for a recent example.

@Fizza... On YouTube some people have reviewed the game... I wouldn't watch them though, since they spoil the game.

@JaxonH i second your comentary, the only downsize of Bayonetta 3 is it controversial ending/plot, the rest of the game is pure masterpiece, it elevate the action genre with even more insane set pieces, add more options for us to explore the stages of the game, and as you said have tree playable characters with distinct playable style, after two similar Bayonetta games on seventh generation of consoles and Wii U, i glad, Bayonetta 3 is a very ambitous game, Bayonetta 3 is tied with Kirby and the Forgotten Land is my GOTY for this year.
