@Monkey_Balls It could be that the leakers only asked their sources about NX stuff because they didn't care about the other stuff. I mean for example the Nintendo community's reaction to the 3DS Direct in general was "Announce NX already!".

Calling it now: tomorrow Nintendo will announce the date for the NX reveal, which will be next week. At least this is my (wishfull) guess.

so the fire emblem and animal crossing apps got delayed. im expected to believe nx will have a steady stream of games when they cant even release phone apps on time?

@WebHead Well Miitomo was delayed as well, and their fifth probably is too, as I don't expect that to launch before March 2017, when FE and AC are delayed as well. On the other hand, what game hasn't been delayed this generation? Almost feels like the norm these days.

@Octane Nah, probably a few days before. TGS starts on the 15th, right? It may be from the 12th to the 14th.

@Octane even mynintendo, the barebones digital coupon program, got delayed. and im supposed to believe nx will have a better release schedule?

@Octane Nintendo has confirmed the 5th game will be released after March 2017.

@Grumblevolcano cosidering 2 of them got delayed to early next year the odds of app 5 releasing by then are slim

@Nonno_Umby I'm not expecting an NX reveal before TGS. They would've combined the two if that was the case. Or you know, playable NX demos at TGS. Not a weird idea for a system that's coming out in a couple of months.

@WebHead I don't know what to think at the moment. I'd like to wait and see how they handle the reveal, that should tell us more. But no, I don't think Nintendo has changed a lot, they're still the same. If they only have to develop for one system, their output may grow, but I'm not expecting twice the amount of games. They're taking resources away from Wii U to develop for NX, but where will they take resources from when we're heading into the second year of NX? Launch will probably decent, then we will probably go back to the usual routine.

@WebHead I already said, Nintendo's already confirmed the 5th one is delayed (i.e. after March 2017).

@Grumblevolcano and miitomo was supposed to be out by end of 2015. SMR is the only mobile app thatll release on time.

Well, two apps might have been delayed, but a 3rd was announced and is coming soon. I don't see that as quiet that bad, but I understand and agree with what @WebHead is saying

@Octane After the presentation they could say something like "you will be able to try the new NX at TGS tomorrow". It would actually be a smart way to increase hype.

@DefHalan technically 4 actually. miitomo was delayed and the fifth app clearly isnt goibg to be out before the end of the fiscal year.

@Nonno_Umby Well one problem is that Nintendo aren't attending TGS this year. Nor do I imagine they have a bunch of NX systems sitting ready for playing just yet.

@WebHead Miitomo wasn't really affected by all this NX stuff in my mind, and the 5th app hasn't been "announced" so I am not counting that. The delay could be for so many reasons. So I am not worried about those delays but it is difficult to believe a machine more powerful than the Wii U (according to rumors) will have better support than the Wii U, when we are seeing delays for mobile games.

@FragRed They never attended it before, if that counts. But that didn't stop other developers to show games on their system at TGS. They could show Dragon Quest X and XI, for istance.
I totally think they have usable NX units. The console will launch in 6 months, it may being already mass-produced for what we know.

Exactly but we don't need to speculate something that's already fact like my previous posts said.
