October NPD:

PS4: ~345k
Switch: ~260k
XBO: ~215k

October YoY:

PS4: +62%
Switch: -12%
Xbox One: +64%
3DS: -45%

Totals Jan-Oct 2018:

PS4: 3038K (+13% YoY)
NSW: 2505K (-4% YoY)
XB1: 2083K (+35% YoY)

Sony and MicroSoft are progressing by +60% both... It's more complicated for Nintendo with the 3DS and the Switch are in regression...

I automatically dismiss virtually everything you post anyway, but the fact you can't even get the year right...

@Cobalt Is that hardware or software? Either way, that doesn't include things like Battlefield and Pokemon, right? It's gonna be neat to see everyone's numbers in february

Cobalt is that person at Activision who was disappointed that Black Ops 4 was only massively successful, instead of as massively successful as some other COD game. If that person was some random nobody on the internet and never successful at anything.

What's more interesting is despite RDR2, Fallout 76, and Forza Horizon 4, Switch is well above X1 for the month with nothing but "old ports." And that is somehow a 60%+ improvement for X1 YoY while it was a slight drop for Switch?!

So in 2018 Switch is ahead of X1 overall, even with a slight dip in sales and a modest increase in X1 sales? Ouch for Microsoft.

@Cobalt Don't kid yourself, Fallout 76 hasn't been released yet. Fair point, still, RDR2 and Forza Horizon 4 mattered the most in that October data.

For someone who hates on the Switch so much he sure spends a lot of the time in a Switch forum. Its almost like he enjoys the attention. Do you think he has another account on pushsquare where he talks about everything he hates about Sony and why Switch is superior.

@JaxonH I've imported I Am Setsuna, One Piece Unlimited World Red, Okami HD, Syberia and Syberia 2... sort of (Right case came, wrong cartridge). It's a great feature if the game isn't coming over otherwise and it has English.

I'll definitely be getting Super Robot Wars T now that I know it's in English though.

Anyway, these are good numbers for a system that hasn't had a hit game in quite a while. Interest in Switch is steady. I can only imagine how good the holiday season will be!

@Ralizah Combined with Mario Odyssey releasing October last year the figures make sense. Again, looks like everyone is having a good time in the industry.

I've got to settle for GAME and grey for that PowerA GCN-styled wireless controller. Nowhere else in the UK is stocking them. Unfortunate, really, as I quite liked the black one.

Also, who sits in an office chair to play games these days? It's all about having your gaming laptop on said office chair while you sit on the sofa.

The Switch news section does confirm the 3 Mages in Kirby Star Allies are unlocked via certain conditions in the new update which likely means completing Another Dimension. So there you have it, Star Allies has grown quite a lot since its launch in March and it seems like the update next week is the last one.

LupinRanger Vs PatRanger game for switch! Is anyone as excited as I am?! Hopefully Hasbro will pick up super sentai seasons faster than Saban did and we will actually get this in the states!
