Switch sales are still strong though cut in half. Super Mario Odyssey is selling well too, though that too has had a big drop-off. More than good enough to claim the number 2 spot. I'm surprised the Japanese like COD so much.
Upon the announcement of next week's extra Fire Emblem Warriors content and the Xenoblade 2 expansion pass, I'm considering cancelling my DOOM preorder. I haven't fully decided yet and I preordered at a shop rather than online so I've still got time to decide but there's so much extra content that has come out or is coming out soon for Switch that DOOM can wait. On the other hand, what if enough people have that same logic that in the long term kills 3rd party support on Switch.
Xenoblade season pass isn't really a necessary purchase now. FE Warriors content is coming, but we've known about that.
So, TakeTwo is very pleased with NBA 2k18 sales. This is fantastic news, and evidence that our collective support has indeed succeeded
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Zachariah 12:10 (500 yrs before Christ)
They will look on Me whom they pierced
@JaxonH I'm talking about next week's free update that was announced today, wasn't expecting free History mode maps (Hyrule Warriors didn't get free adventure maps).
@Grumblevolcano Speaking of which, I like those costumes, but it'd be a shame to get them shredded in that disrobe thingy. I wonder what that's even for...

Marvelous are also ramping up production for Nintendo Switch, bringing new games to the system (as well as ports of older games) to accompany Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star and the forthcoming Story of Seasons game.
Damn, Square Enix, Take Two, and Marvelous all ramping up Switch production. Excellent!!!
Would love to see World of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy XII, the Kingdom Hearts Remix collection, and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 come over from Square Enix as far as old ports go. Oh, and for the sake of irony, the PC port of Final Fantasy VII.
From Take Two I mostly just want to see the BioShock and Borderlands Collections. GTA V would be nice, but it would inevitably be a storage nightmare.
@JaxonH 2K was #6 on the eShop Best Sellers list for the month of September, ahead of Pokken and Dragon Ball. Granted, the latter two released a week later and had a physical option, but still.
The retail release has had commercials running too, mostly during NBA games on TNT. With the NBA ratings as high as they are right now, that's definitely effective marketing!
@Spoony_Tech@JaxonH I've been putting off getting an SD card since I'm not averse to just deleting games I'm done with like on my PS4, but some of the games are big enough that even my 32GB card wasn't going to be sufficient, and this would have been a stupid deal to pass up (for me, since I don't already own a bigger card).
Even got free shipping from Best Buy!
@IceClimbers World of Final Fantasy would be PERFECT for the Switch, what with its cute aesthetic, monster collecting aspects, and the fact that it's relatively undemanding.
