It's bloody lovely to have in my hands, the weight, comfort and feel is the best I ever had from a portable console, the joy cons in a grip aren't as nice but maybe it's because I have big hands. The Internet connection seems iffy, my Wii U and tablet are connected to the same wi-fi fine but the Switch keeps struggling but it may just be I can't get onto the eshop due to busy servers.
My copy of Zelda hasn't come so I'm playing Bomberman so far, it's ok.
How's the JoyCon connectivity? And how comfortable are all of the control options?
The Joy cons are connected fine, no problems so far. The handheld is blissfull, the grip is ok and a single joy con seems odd but it's quite nice in a novel way, I doubt I will play with a single joy con by choice though.

I went to my local GameStop just to check out the line for the Switch.... and there were only like 5 or 6 people outside (it's a small store, anyway). I did recognize someone from my school so I'm very much assuming I'll see him playing his shiny new Switch in the Student Union tomorrow. And I'll be there to play it
And the Switch boxes... so bright and colorful....
Picked up my Switch from my local Smyths I'd say that there were around 30 people also doing the same. Picked up a case and screen protector at the same time, but I have ordered a tempered glass screen protector form Amazon.
The box itself is smaller than you are used to for a console launch, but at least I can set it up when I get home from work.
Anyone else have trouble with the straps? I put them on, then couldn't get them off without really forcing it! I'll probably never use them again for fear of breaking it.
The midnight launch was pretty standard. Struck up conversation with this kinda young kid next to me. But I can't get over how small this thing is! The joycons, the buttons, etc. I am definitely carrying this in my pocket.
I'd like to give an honorable mention to my wonderful gf who waited in line at Best Buy for Breath of the Wild, even though she probably didn't want to. She's the best ever :3
No you're not. Don't you remember? Multiple parties have insisted this is 'too big' for a portable and certainly not pocketable. Who do you think you are, Andre the Giant?
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
NINTENDOSH The Nintendo Switch is selling out and people are trying to flog their consoles on eBay for HUGE sums of money New games system proving to be wildly popular, prompting opportunists to try and make a quick buck
I'm happy to confirm from a YouTube video that, regardless of where you buy the Nintendo Switch, it has several languages you can choose from. Even the Japanese Switch has English option.
Switch is here for me.
Was worried Zelda wouldn't be arrived today considering it was only dispatched at 1:45 this morning, but I'm happy to say it did arrive. Good on you Amazon. And good on GAME for a speedy early arrival for the Switch itself.
