Topic: Unlike Super Mario Maker 2 Course?

Just as the title says, is it possible to "Unlike" a course that you liked in Super Mario Maker 2? There is a course that when pausing the game, I got trigger happy and clicked the "Like" heart. I cannot seem to undo that and/or change the rating.

I also tried deleting the Mii from the main Switch settings that I was required to make to Course World. When I boot up SMM2 and log back into Course world, that Mii still exists in that game only, and that course still exists in my "Liked" courses. Is there any other way to degister and re-register a Profile for SMM2, or any other workarounds to remove this course that I accidentally Liked from my Profile?

I'm guessing with over 220 views on this topic and no follow up posts, it must not be possible to unlike or rerate a course in Super Mario Maker 2.

Therefore, that course will forever be in my "Liked" courses with no way to remove it.

Be careful out there everyone and make sure to only "Like" courses you truly admire, and definitely don't be trigger happy like me and accidentally rate one! 🙂

Question; Why is it a problem that you accidently liked a level?

Imagine a hot garbage level is being played and you want to boo it. Guess what? Your finger slipped and you tapped like. The creator saw someone liked it and so he thought someone actually like it, and so he made more, flooding the course selection screen with hot garbage.

Like is a motivation to creators. We shouldn't motivate creators to build unfair, boring and frustrating levels.

@PeroPeric Most of the levels on Mario Maker 2 are hot garbage even without rating them. So don't see the problem here

Accidentally liking one isn’t so much an issue, but accidentally disliking one sucks. There was one level I wanted on my like list and now I have to search through the hundred levels that I already played to find it.
