Topic: transfer accounts and save files to another switch lite..

My WIFE has taken over my Switch Lite for 6 weeks playing Animal Crossing,
So ive bought her one, it comes on Saturday ..
Please, Please, PLEASE... Tell me i can transfer her account and Animal Crossing
Save files for her Island ..??

Currently, it looks like the answer is no. (Nintendo might put out an update to the game to allow this, but no date or specifics were announced)

Animal Crossing: New Horizons does not support the ability to transfer your save file from one Nintendo Switch system to another.

Although you could transfer all your other games & save data, I suppose .... So, give her the current Lite?

Most games do, I don't know why Animal Crossing doesn't (at the moment) .... Seems like the best option would be to transfer your games over to the new Switch? Give her the current one?

It is specifically Animal Crossing that Nintendo have made not support save transfer & you'd have to ask them why .... Just about every other game can transfer save date, though? There's nothing we can actually do about it, you know
