I watched the UK version Direct and saw Bubbles.
I didn't realize the USA version using Hugh Morris as Pierrot looking.

Even the Japanese version was also different.
There was no clown or Pierrot characters in the trailer.
They used grandpa instead lol.

I'll be honest, I thought they were just gonna find a way to replace gender with style again somehow lol. Which is fine and based and cool on its own, I'm just genuinely surprised the word "non-binary" exists in a Nintendo game. I didn't watch the Direct past this, I don't think I need to see the game much to want it, and it feels like a game where part of the appeal is going in blind and watching the chaos happen anyway. Like I'm sick of going into games and knowing too much about them.

I keep thinking about how amazingly horrible my island is going to end up being due to how much creative freedom they're giving us with the Miis and the stuff that they interact with. All the pets I make are going to be some of the most abysmal things ever created, and I'm going to have fun laughing at it all.

I also keep trying to think about what Miis I actually want to create. The new Mii Maker makes it look like there's going to be a lot more potential in making characters that actually look like the characters that they're meant to be. I could probably make a half-decent Edward Elric- or actually make my OCs actually look like my OCs.

On top of this, I'm excited that I no longer have to actually make one of my characters a man so that they can get married to the character of the same sex. They'll just let us have same sex couples now.
