Topic: The New Denpa Men

Must be doing something wrong. Everyone I added so far have way cooler Denpa Men than I do.

@FishyS I had no idea we could feed Denpa Men fish. I'll have to check that out. I wasn't really sure what the point of fishing was. I did it a ton yesterday for the Fishing Event so I could get a rod upgrade, but I didn't know there was much of a point to it.

Did anyone here try catching denpa men with Friends?

I caught a glowing Denpa Men with the ability Poison. When I try to use it in battle, a message says something like "There's no reason to use this now" or something. Same with another Denpa Men that has Mobilize. What do these abilities do?

@utopianmachine it’s likely an ability to cure poison, in the same way mobilize cures paralysis.

Speaking of poison, did everyone get the same set of poison-inducing shoes in the first level? Or did I just get super lucky? Because that equipment has been super broken and helpful.

I also got speed shoes... which isn't exciting since it also sells in the store for not much gold.

Ah then it was truly luck of the draw. These poison boots have been poisoning the bosses and doing a great deal of passive damage.

I lost all my gold in the casino 😐 How dare the monster which was clearly far more powerful randomly decide to run away. Fortunately I evolved my main denpa to level 31 beforehand.

Question: when you breed denpa do the parents vanish? The text is a little unclear although I assume the answer is yes.

One fun thing I noticed is that if you visit friends you can sometimes get different types of fish.

@FishyS Ouch! I lost all my gold to a mushroom house and some decorations and then realized i have to pay to limit break.
Back to grinding.

Does anyone know what stab means in the game? Asking because I want to do the xp dungeons when they come back.

@utopianmachine You can feed them fish AND fruit.

Also, one sort of hidden feature I found, the voucher you sometimes get from defeating monsters, you can use them in battle as items to summon said creature, for a pretty powerful attack. Press L or R when in the item choosong section.

So much hidden stuff from awful translations, it is amazing!!

By the way, about those vouchers, I noticed one of my friends sent me a few as a gift, but I have no idea how to send gifts myself.

Has anyone figured that out?

@Eel Ah, thank you for that answer. I would not have thought of that, Poison ability meaning to cure poison, not cause it. When does a character in a video game only have the ability to Cure Poison, only? Bleh.

As for the shoes, I also got the poison shoes, and they indeed rock.

Anyone know if the event catch is worth it? I only have 3 jewels from dungeons and don't want to waste them. Or I could just do rare catch.

Side comment, but I ran out of stamina for the first time today which is pretty annoying; that aspect isn't really fun so may break my addiction.

@FishyS if you need any of these three skills then it’s an easy quick way to get them. You also get to keep their equipment, which I assume is not available elsewhere. I mean, who doesn’t love a shirt that says “I❤️D”.

Now that I have a decent amount of space on the island, I did some decorating, and it really does help to liven up the place. Even if it’s pretty superfluous. But it’s a little bit like an mini animal crossing.

Anyone know how to find the last monster in the voucher list for the first mission? I looked high and low...

I just tried it. You keep the og denpa men. You just can't use them again to "breed", so you need to keep that in mind.
