@Blue_Blur Yeah. I'm generally finding myself falling into an ambusher playstyle again. The new splatroller kit, Curling Bombs with a Splashdown, definitely lends itself to that playstyle. The vertical flick took a lot of getting used to, but it's perfect for ambushes, if you can aim it well. Plenty of range on that, at the expense of speed.
I can generally trade myself out for two of the enemy team on a good ambush, which gives my team the man advantage. I generally find its 2 or 0. It's rarely 1 for 1.
The new slosher I can kinda see being anti-ambush and flankers, with the suction bombs, and the location giving tentamissiles. How have you been finding it?

@erv If you want to hang around for a bit, I'm only gonna do one more game, and you can take my place. My gf will probably be angry if she finds out i let her sleep for any longer.
@TheXReturns The splatroller does work really well for ambushes; glad the playstyle is working well for you, even with the changes.
The new slosher is taking some getting used to as well. Without burst bombs, I've been noticing that I'm having to stay back more, since my "quick" way of splatting opponents is gone, along with my quick escape plan. I'm starting to get used to some new strategies with the suction bombs, but I would still prefer to have burst bombs again. The tentamissles are great, though. Being able to use it as a quick echo-locator is a great plus. So I guess I'm more of a support playstyle now, which I don't hate, but is definitely different from what I'm used to.
