Anyone have any ideas of what kind of dungeons they'd like to see in this game?
I had this awesome idea for a dungeon that, when you first enter it, is covered in ice. However, through some dungeon mechanic, you can melt the ice, effectively converting the dungeon into what I like to call an "overwater" dungeon. In a sense, you never have to dive under water, but the dungeon uses the likes of flow and buoyancy puzzles, similar to the first floor of the Tower of the Gods in Wind Waker. The main trick with the dungeon would be that you have to correctly freeze and melt different elements in the dungeon to expose different parts of the dungeon you needed to access. The dungeon item would be the fire and ice arrows.
I actually like that idea a lot! I like dungeons that progress and change forms as you complete them. Hopefully, the Wii U is powerful enough to handle a large dungeon that can take account for the total amount of ice in the dungeon and calculate a water level. That would be an intense feat.

I agree! That's exactly the sort of idea Id like to see more of in Zelda moving forward. We're quite used to seeing dungeons based on a single element now. It would be neat to see dongeons based on how different elements interact, like water and ice.
Bad news: No 1-to-1 motion controls (at least not as far as we can see)
Good news: Link is right handed, so there will likely be an option.
More good news: OMG I WANT IT NOW!
Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F
I thought they over-relied on the casual developer gameplay at E3. But this was great. They were so casual it made the game awesome and THEM awesome. "Oh yeah, this open world Zelda, next year. What, it's kinda obvious right?"
