@rallydefault Yeah I guess that's another problem I have...why not give us full 360 movement when we're forced to use the analogue stick?
I'm getting used to the controls now (I've played an extra hour or so), but still struggling with the backflip. Just very strange for a Mario game not to feel instantly intuitive to me!
Just finished world 3 in SM3DW. Man, the increase in running speed is truly noticeable...more so than I anticipated, honestly. Haven't been holding down the dash button that much as a result, lol.
@timleon You're not alone, I've been having a bit of trouble pulling off the side somersault too. It's probably because the timing is a little different compared to the other games.

AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
Started Bowser's Fury today - the camera seemed a bit close to Mario but I had a lot of fun with it. But I think the faster speed alone warranted double dipping for me - it feels really nice and snappy, and I'm really looking forward to revisiting 3D World because of that
It does feel good to go faster, but at the same time, it kinda messes with the cadence of level design, which was built for the original speed.
Eh. It’s still fun, so I can take it or leave it either way. But I do wonder how it would feel with the original speed by comparison. Probably would feel slow. Once you get used to the faster speed, I imagine it’s hard to go back.
Toad is like the Flash now. It’s nuts.

Not sure how I feel altogether about 3D World. Had never played the original so it's a new experience. I find the game a bit frustrating in parts and that's where it's ceased to be fun. I'll keep grinding away on it but it's starting to wear thin.
