I’m on Team Fist Bump, and every time we get paired up against Team Handshake, the ink colors of us (slight beige) against them (magenta) makes me think of peanut butter and jelly, and it’s making me hungry.

By the way, I just picked up a Shiver amiibo.

It's still not going very well for me. I'm not getting many wins and it's taking me longer to get to Hug Ruler. But I did get a 10x win tonight before the halftime.

I just got the (TEAM NAME) Ruler title.

Tricolor is seeming to be only mirror matches so it looks like either Fist Bump is extremely popular or one of the other options is very unpopular.

@Croctopus I'm in an odd situation where the mirror matches take away from the fun but on the other hand, it comes to mind that there's only around 6 Splatfests to go after this one before the Splatoon franchise potentially goes on a break for like 3-4 years. Will Tricolor even be playable at all after Final Fest or just be a feature lost to time?

Yeah definitely seems like a Fist Bump sweep this time round, got absolutely obliterated in the majority of my matches against them XD

Finishing up my own run on 60K Clout in Open and 100K in Tricolour for Team Handshake. Despite starting off on a VERY sour note with that 100x misfortune, I honestly really enjoyed this fest for the most part; managed to win a 10x a few minutes ago (and get the associated Deep Cut badges as a result as well), got the star ratings of a bunch of weapons up and genuinely had a brilliant time in Tricolour this time round. Couple with absolutely zero mirror matches whatsoever and yeah: pretty great time all around

I've had my best ever Splatfest I think. That's not saying that much, as I've rarely been able to put much time into one in the past, but I've just made 'Ruler +1' for the first time and had a pretty healthy mix of good and less good results. Even managed to snick a ×100 win this morning.

Also managed to finally feel like I've find a load-out option that works for me. Kinda dependent on it still cos as soon as I get tempted to try something else I suck to Inkopolis and back, but it finally feels like I'm a Splatoon 3 player, having struggled to get into it previously.

I like to think that Frye would hug me if I told her that I didn’t mean to pick her team during the “Shiver/Frye/Big Man” Splatfest, because it was a misunderstanding on my part.

Played some Tricolour after my last post, that was fun, though at no point did the significance of the Ultra Signal become clear to me. Got a fair share of wins though so it can't be that important.

Then I dipped in to Pro just before bed. First match was a ×100 and another win. If my team ends up winning the whole Fest then I might have to take this up more seriously 😄

Wow, surprisingly had a really good time this splatfest! I'm usually not a fan of splatfests because they force you to play turf war, but had some good games. I decided to play whatever I felt like, no matter how under powered, (mainly goo tuber and undercover), so that might be the reason why I found this one so much more fun.

Also managed to win a 333x battle and five 10x battles, so thats nice! (oddly no 100x) I really enjoyed this tricolour stage, easily one of my favourites. The theme wasn't great, but overall, this has to have been one of my favourite splatfests thus far.

This was probably my worst Splatfest, unfortunately. I've been having horrible luck with how many times I've lost... I did get some wins, but it seems like I've had way more losses than wins this time. It took me longer to get to Hug Ruler as a result, and I just got the Ruler title tonight. Good riddance. I did remember to scrub my Splatfest tee, too.

Frye won sneak peak, votes and open meanwhile Shiver won pro and tricolor which meant that Shiver won overall.

As for why I chose Fist Bump...I'm autistic, sorry to drop the ball on you all with this fact, but I really don't like having physical contact with strangers. A fist bump would be quick for me.

Personally, I don't get why we don't have a "waving" option instead of hugging. That one I would've gone with because there's absolutely no touch whatsoever. Didn't anyone learn from that PSA from Sonic the Hedgehog?

Well, it sucks that my team did not get a single point. No wonder I had so many losses. Frye's team was so close to winning and Fist Bump kept besting me in the open matches, so I was pretty surprised to see Handshake win. I picked Hug since that resonates with me more. I love a good hug... especially from family.

@Croctopus I was feeling pretty bad for Frye until you brought up Japan's Splatfest results. Thanks for the update!

@IceDomino I think this Splatfest theme with the greetings could be more so with your friends or family members - those who you've known in real life, instead of people you don't know. Or in the case of a handshake, it could be for a professional setting.
