I have recently invested into the 8Bitdo SN30 Pro Plus controller (well that's a mouthful) since I've heard a lot of nice things about the remote and it held promise. I've even heard people calling it the best switch pro controller so I just HAD to get my hands on it. I also really liked the design. Thought it was cute and it really took me back to fuzzy memories of playing titles like Mario Kart or Mario RPG with my bro. Another driving force to the purchase was the D-Pad. I feel Nintendo D-pads just aren't as good as they used to be (Maybe because most modern games use the sticks for movement?). Anyway...

I really do love the controller! I love it's design, the feel in the hands, the buttons, triggers... Pretty much everything! But one problem I've run into, is that every so often it will hold up on it's own? So, like Joycon drift? No, not exactly... it doesn't hold up in a crooked way like it's being touched, but in a very still, specific spot upwards. It only really happens for not even a full second, but just enough to cause frustrating during play sessions. I even had it happen for nearly a minute before it let go. I haven't even had it for a week, and noticed it as soon as the first day of use. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution

There is a calibration routine in the Switch, meant for joy-con and pro controller stick drift. This routine may work for your controller: https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a...

Alternatively, contact customer support at 8Bit-do, or contact customer support at your retailer. The controller still should be under warranty. From your description, there might be a hardware issue with the stick being stuck in a particular position, in which case the calibration might not fix the problem.

I have not had this problem with my SF30 Pro, but that is quite different than claiming such a problem does not exist.

@IncestEmblem It's not stuck, it's very on and off. It only happens now and then and just for a moment, usually less than a second but once it started holding up for about a minute before stopping. What I'm trying to say is, it's not always stuck in that position, it's typically only briefly stuck.

@Nintendone then you need to contact their support for the issue this isn't a NIN controller to fix.
