Topic: Screen black when undocked... help!!

Hi Everyone,

I've had my Switch since May without any problems... until yesterday!!

I took my Switch out of the dock and pressed the home button but nothing happened, the back light in the screen was on because the screen was a grey colour and if I pressed the power button the menu appeared to restart or power off the unit. Selecting restart didn't do anything and the only way to restart the machine was to hold the power button down for about 15 seconds and then it rebooted and everything was fine all evening...

Until today... I took the Switch out of the dock again and I had exactly the same thing happen!!!

Has anyone else had this problem??

I don't want to send it back the week before Mario is released!!!

A lot of people have this problem currently. It seems that the current Switch OS version has an annoying bug.

Same problem with my grandaughters Switch

Thanks for the replies. It makes me feel a bit better if it's an OS problem, hopefully they'll update it soon.
