Why has Ubisoft not made the decision to port their Wii titles Red Steel, and Red Steel 2 as a collection to Switch? Amazing games! Red Steel 1 was better imo overall. It was the game that made me want to buy a Wii in the first place and it was marketed really well. Really fun game! Anyone else on board? Anyone else with fond memories of RS on Wii?

Red Steel 1 is ... super Rough... its not a very good game by todays standards. i loved it when it came out (i was young and naive) but looking at it now its WAY too unpolished, i could imagine them making a port of 2, but that would take too many resources i assume, since the Switch is on its end of its Lifecycle + They dont know what the next system will bring to the table in terms of Motion Controls.
I really wish they brought out 1 again for Switch and polished it up and made it as smooth as possible. I think if you look past it's "hicks", you can enjoy the game for what it is

Making the first game playable would be interesting to see if nothing else. It was a neat idea but it really didn’t do a good job selling motion controls. Now Red Steel 2, that’s where the sauce is
I'd think that, with all the goings on at Ubisoft of late, picking up a couple of niche games from a franchise that's long dead probably won't be among their priorities.
That said, I thought that Red Steel 2 was great. It's among the best of the Motion Plus games alongside Wii Sports Resort and Skyward Sword. It's a shame that it bombed so hard, but they definitely weren't ever making a third game.
