I appreciate Atlus/Sega reaching all the way back to the PS2 and bringing Devil Summoner forward.
I was not a PS2 owner at this time, so I missed out on most of those exclusives. Even though I'm not a MegaTen super-fan, I do believe this game is very well regarded? Although the aggregate doesn't paint a pretty picture necessarily. Sounds like a misunderstood diamond in the rough.
Up to Episode II now. Mildly unsettled about how quickly my demons fold in combat with boss types. Clearly I need to use safeguard more often. During the first couple of boss fights all my demons were merc'd. I barely scrapped by.

Kinda on the fence on this one. I like persona but SMT doesn't look too appealing to me, raidou is kinda in between (based on what I have seen in reviews)
@Jedrus_Lilac From what I've heard it's much more Persona than SMT, lot more lighthearted and doesn't have that apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic lonely feel "real" SMT does (which I like but I imagine you don't).
@Fiergala From what I gather SMT games are heavily combat focussed. While I like the combat in Persona I am not sure I would like like the game as much if it was just dungeons. And from what I gather that's what SMT games focus on.
How is the detective game in Raidou? any fun or is it tacked on or something? I heard the og was a bit clunky and they streamlined the remaster
