If you’re like me, you might occasionally browse through the Great Deals section of the eShop.
Should you do so, you might see that the FPS/Space Survival Horror game “Hollow” is on sale for less than 2 bucks. (Or pounds, shillings, ducats, doubloons, pieces of eight, whatever you people use.)
You might then think, “hey, it kind of looks like Dead Space, and besides, how could I not get my money’s worth for such a low price?”
This is a bad game. An awful game. Everything about it is bad. I thought the NL review that gave it 3/10 stars may have been harsh. It was generous.
When I first saw it, I thought it looked pretty good, and was going to get it at some point.
But then the reviews came in and crushed it, so never bothered, shame really, it could have been good.
They got me with a vague trailer using Mad World as the soundtrack. My brain immediately went to Dead Space and Gears of War (which also used the song.)
Cool trailer, but the game is sadistically awful in its execution.
If there's one discount I feel headed towards, it's Oceanhorn.
Yeah, it's essentially Diet Zelda. But a good Diet Zelda, it seems so far, judging by the demo.
I don't quite have lots o' loot, because I'm from the Boot.

Played it on mobile. I liked it. It’s mid-school Zelda with some cool sailing stuff thrown in. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
