I purchased 30th anniversary street fighter and seem to be unable to play two player mode. Both joycons control one character, the other character just stands there and doesn't do anything.
I am playing on the TV so both Joy cons are detached. It give me the customising the buttons for player 1 & 2 but no matter what I do I can only control one character whilst the other one just stands there.
I will check when I am at home whether shoulder buttons work at all
On the home screen, select controllers icon (on the same row as eShop and pictures). Select Change Grip/Order. Both players should now have their Joy-Con sideways. Press SL and SR buttons (the two small buttons on top of the Joy-Con while they are sideways) at the same time to connect one of the controllers and do the same with the other one. Now each controller is assigned to different player. Start your game and enjoy.
This controller setup screen is your best friend when it comes to multiplayer games since not all games have their own controller setup screen for whatever reason.
@New_Guest Both Joy-Con have the same amount of buttons. Enough to play Street Fighter games even if it ain't the most comfortable way to play them.
It's its, not it's.
