@Zuljaras yeah you can have a file per profile. I don’t like cluttering my switch with multiple profiles, but I do have two.
Maybe you have read me say this before… Back then when I got a New 3DS and moved my account from my 2DS to it… I continued liking the 2DS more, so I created another Nintendo Account on it.
Well that account had several gold coins just burning away, so eventually I decided to add that same account to my switch to spend them on small cheap games.
Since I have a normal switch and a lite, that’s three concurrent files for me (four if I switch primary consoles, since I’m buying this digitally)
@Eel Got it I never moved any accounts around on any console Not a fan of online things.
The good thing about the 3DS family was that most cartridges had the save file on them and I can easily play the game game on my other 3DS consoles without starting fresh

@thiz : That isn't new though. Many wild Pokémon have been known to have the possibility of carrying evolution items over the years (such as Dragon Scale, Metal Coat, King's Rock etc.), but the likelihood is usually very low.

@thiz I do get what you are saying, but it still makes no sense to me to remake and rerelease the worst version of the game. My understanding is past remakes included elements that the third version perfected, which I guess this does as well - but exclusively in the end game, it seems. Like I’ll bow to your experience if this is how they have always done it, but it just seems like a really bad approach. It clearly works though as they keep making these.
@Pizzamorg I am not sure what you are trying to achieve by reminding me that this is not the perfect game every chance you get. I said numerous times before that I really dislike this game not starting out with Platinum balancing right from the get go, but we came to learn that they used that refined content to make a sweet endgame experience out of it. I'd rather be baffled by some balancing issues along the way than not to have anything to do at the end.
Its okay to be disappointed and there is Platinum for the DS if you wanna fork out 80 bucks in hopes of not getting scammed by a fake, but we have to make due with what we get. I am not sitting here for another year crying about this games failures, If something turns out to be okay you can be happy and still treat yourself with a great experience.
Of course it could have been better, but this can be said for all games. And after being served Pokemon Go for Switch and a toddlers version in Sword and Shield where everyone is always stopping me after I am walking 10 meters just to tell me where to go, I honestly really am happy we are getting a good pokemon game again. Its been a while.
I dont want to wait see another 2 iterations for babys before I get a good game, so I choose to support ILCA to show Game Freak that this is the direction they need to go in. Opinions can change and if a game that looked awful at first turns out great its time to chill out and have fun. Its like the situation back in the day when everyone hated Xbox One for being tailored towards americans who do nothing all day but watch sports on TV. Microsoft took the criticism, changed the whole system, fired Don Mattrick and turned face.
ILCA listend to peoples feedback and made a great game out of it. Just read through the first pages of this thread. This game was looked at as a bad april fools joke when it was first announced but trailer after trailer they improved and people recognized that.
This is the last time I am responding to you coming up with the same argument everytime. Its okay to not like something, then go play Platinum on DS or even get Heartgold/Soulsilver, but to just waltz in here and be saddening peoples moods is not really cool. You are never getting a platinum remake. There is no reason to release the same game again just with a few more changes. This is the choices they came up with for it and thats all theres to it.

You were the one (I think?) who made me aware of all of the missing Platinum content and then you replied directly to me earlier, so I was just replying back? There is no ulterior motive beyond that. If people are excited for this, then cool. I was excited, until you made me aware of how much I would be missing out on and now I think I’ll just be waiting for this to come down in price.
And thats totally fine, but just on the last 5 pages you probably responded 3 times to me with not literally but something along the lines of "but they suck tho" and so far I've been ignoring it, so I am just telling you, you dont have to repeat it.
I was outspoken about how it sucked when I didnt know everything about it, and I am even more outspoken now since knowing that they'll be alot of fun.

It hasn’t been the first time on here and I am sure it won’t be the last! But if they vanished for everyone I guess they deleted their account? No clue.

I was reading online and I heard people say that the post game is actually hard?! Oh man I can't wait, that means I can make some actual set ups with reason! oh is Wobfett in this game? because I actually like using that pokemon.
