@DarthNocturnal It contains: Post-game rematches with the gym leaders, elite 4, and champion, all which use their platinum teams in the post-game. There's no distortion world, but there's a room where you get Giratina's orb, and it's themed around the distortion world.. but that's about it I'm fairly certain.
@Snatcher You shouldn't, given TPC's pattern of releases. As for better value, it mostly boils down to what pokemon you really prefer.

I guess it is kind of interesting they found a way to include both teams, but for those who don’t engage with endgame they only get to experience the worse version of the campaign.
@Pizzamorg Not as marketable, as they aren't selling two versions, and instead one. The main reason they haven't just released these games as one release with every pokemon in it.

But if Platinum is objectively the best version of the game, why remake the worse version? Or at least why not include the Platinum content within this, as they have done with previous remakes like this? Like I don’t get how this is more marketable. Unless they plan to patch the Platinum stuff in later to pretend they “listened and addressed concerns from their community”.
@Pizzamorg remakes always are of original games not of enchanted version, but they still try include some enchantments from enchanted version and they did some with these remakes as well, but only some.

@Pizzamorg They've always done remakes of the originals, and never the third versions. ORAS barely had any content from Emerald. BDSP barely has any content from Platinum. It's unfortunately how things are with this series.

@VoidofLight@SViper there’s also the rotom and shaymin forms, most of the Pokémon introduced in Platinum can be found in the underground before beating the games, the overall increase in gameplay speed Platinum introduced, the clothes (as an early purchase bonus), the expanded list of Pokémon that can enter Amity Square… And that’s as far as my knowledge goes.
Truth be told, Platinum is the one and only mainline Pokémon game I have never played. So if there’s other things I wouldn’t know.
@thiz I didn't wanted to choose this dual water-type that much, but that was only dual water-type option left that was still tempty and not super far into the game. Wanted go with my Piplup team like in Platinum, but Ponyta in DP is catchable after 2nd badge not before 1st badge like in Platinum and my youngest brother is already be picking Piplup, so.

@thiz now it has 2 Punch moves 2 levels apart, usually, which ones have same Power, on has 10 PP less while the one with more PP is Priority +1 and another with less PP has effect where raises Attack by one stage after it hits. xD
4 days and 0-2 hours till games most likely be delivered for me.

@thiz Power-Up Punch was add with BDSP for Chimchar line to learn via level up even if move came in Generation 6 it is still new change for Chimchar case.
