I can see your post here.
I'm fine with you here.

@thiz Do we know how early this is available? This may indeed save the game for me.

At least 2'8".

That second spoiler reminds me that Sw/Sh has a mechanic where it becomes much harder to catch Pokémon that are above your active Pokémon's lever.
I hope BD/SP doesn't have that, but I imagine it probably won't because it looks to be incredibly faithful to the DS game experience.

The two Mythical Pokémon being tied to save data and thus being repeatable gifts sounds great, that way I won’t feel bad about actually using them, they become Pokémon I can use in the main adventure without feeling like I’m ruining their collectible status.

Pokemon slogan "Gotcha Catch 'Em all", but I just only interested by certain Pokemons as I played my Pokemon games very casually.

@Anti-Matter That's not even the slogan. Japan never had it, and it was only really used in America, as it was coined there. They haven't even used the slogan since Black and White I'm pretty sure.

My original Diamond file had several hundreds of hours. Can't wait to play the game again with a new coat of paint.

So what are event only Pokemons from Sinnoh region since i have never played Diamond / Pearl before ?

@thiz you should be able to use the same profile as long as you use a physical cartridge on your "secondary" console. Since if it's digital, it'll probably detect you're using your main switch at the same time.

@Anti-Matter Diamond and Pearl introduced the following event/mythical pokemon: Manaphy (+Phione), Shaymin, Darkrai, and Arceus... Regigigas was kind of an event pokemon as well.

We know at least Manaphy (and by extension Phione) will be given out as an early purchase bonus.

The other event/mythical pokemon present in the original DS games, from previous generations, were Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, and Deoxys.

@Eel
Well, there is Sinnoh handbook in my school library (the students like to read that book before pandemic) so i can browse to see which Sinnoh region Pokemon i want to get them since from Sinnoh region, only Empoleon and Lucario i like the most.
Other Pokemons don't look really appeal to catch them. Indeed they are cute but not enough to convince me since i prefer Fighter type looking or Humanoid / bipedal creatures. (Still prefer getting Sawk from Gen 5 since i like Karate guy looking)

Btw, are those event / mystical Pokemons can be caught on Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon. 3DS if i remembered the post game content ?
I think i have ever caught the trio mystical Sinnoh Pokemon from Alpha Sapphire.

@Anti-Matter event / mythical pokemon are traditionally only available via events, hence the "event" name. You normally can't get them in the games. Though there have been exceptions, like Celebi in the 3DS version of Pokemon Crystal, Deoxys in Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, and Keldeo in the Sword and Shield expansion pass.

With some luck maybe there will be events or more in these new games

The pokemon you might be thinking of are Legendary Pokemon, like Regice, Zapdos, Giratina or Mewtwo.

As for pokemon designs, maybe you could give a chance to a few other body types and shapes. Who knows, you might get attached to them like they're your pets.

The notion that the cartridges will include an unfinished build is disgusting and extremely off-putting. I'm still on the fence at the moment. Perhaps this is a means of exposing Nintendo's plummeting work ethic and a warning against buying these games. I'm so torn. I'm still tempted to grab the double pack for the steelbooks, sell off the individual games, and purchase them in about a year's time when there's a complete version of the games on cartridge (as later prints of Nintendo-published games usually include software updates on the cartridge).

In comparison, Sword/Shield were Version 1.0 at launch and stayed that way for a good while, with no major updates until the release of the DLC packs.

If the current rumours/leaks are true, then this is setting an awful precedent for the franchise, not only in terms of base builds moving forward, but the overall quality of the games generally.

Today really saw a reversal in overall attitude towards the remakes, it seems. I was still looking forward to them before the leaks, but now I wish it was next week already (or maybe the week after. Why must Nintendo always launch games on Friday? Shipping is a thing...).

In what sense? More good news or bad news? I’m sorta out of the loop here, really.

And what is the good news, that you can access underground early which solves the Pokédex problem and that you get the Platinum team comps at endgame? Does that really solve all the issues people were listing with these games previously?

@Silly_G perhaps there will be an updated physical version later down the line.

That’s part of why I went digital.

anyhow.... Hey

I'm really glad I never transferred my Pokeball Plus Mew out of Let's Go.

@Silly_G It's less to do with Nintendo and More TPC and ILCA. Nintendo barely has any involvement with the development of BDSP, and so does Gamefreak, aside from Masuda.
