Topic: No TV output from Switch

Hey guys how is everyone?

I bought my Switch last July and have had no issues with it at all up until now, this morning when I turned on the system it simply had no TV output, the TV picks up that something is connected and even switches the HDMI input channel to "NintendoSwitch" but nothing shows up on screen and says "No Signal".

The Switch itself works perfectly fine out of the dock, no issues and it even charges as normal when it's in the dock, the only issue is no image on my TV, I've tried different cables, a different TV and even a different dock and I've gotten the same result - No output on the TV, I've even tried putting the cables in in the "correct" order.
I thought it may even be my TV but as I've said I tried it on another and I got the same result, plus my Xbox and everything else works fine as normal.

I've sent in a repair request with Nintendo and I'll be sending it off next week, but if I could find a fix before then I'd greatly appreciate it, has anyone had the issue before? Or know how to fix it?

Thanks.

It sounds like it’s the Switch itself, since you did your diligence and tested every other possibility. ☹️

@AlohaPizzaJack That's a real shame, it works perfectly fine out of the dock, and it was working in the dock yesterday with no issues.

That happened to me a few times at first. I fixed it by plugging in the dock, changing to the right channel, putting the switch in, and then turning on the power button on top. Maybe that'll help?

@GuyWithATV I'll give it a try tomorrow, I've spent most of today trying to get this sorted that I've forgotten what I've tried and what I haven't haha.
