Topic: Nintendo Switch Layout

The Switch’s layout is pretty good! (This is just my opinion) It’s kinda bugging me that the Mii and Amiibo menus are in system settings, I thing they’d be better on the main screen. Again, just my opinion. Thanks for reading!

I hope they refresh it soon. I’d like to see more on the home screen. It’s oretty bland at the moment.

You only create Miis once and that's it so it makes sense for them to be in the system settings, the amiibo settings could go in the home menu I guess.
Personally, I'm not fond of the layout, because no folders and it automatically sorts the games by last played.

My biggest gripe is that I have to go well into the Settings to turn the WiFi off if I don't want to also disable the joy-con wireless via Flight mode.

I think there could be a fair few tweaks that need to be done to the homescreen. There is definitely room there to add other small little things such as WiFi on and off quickly and have a button for Amiibos.

Folders need to be introduced as well and it would be nice to see some apps show up. There is a browser on the Switch and you can see this when linking your account to Facebook or Twitter as when I linked mine to Twitter, that stated that a new connection had been made through the 'Nintendo Browser'

So the functionality is there, just needs to be introduced as an app.

We should find out this week what is going to be included with the online service and if themes will be a part of it.

Folders would be nice but so would the ability to set the order games appear in rather than by order played. I know it's not a big thing but it's bugged me since day one. As for themes... well I'll pass judgment when I see them. I do kinda like the simplicity of the Switch OS layout I'd like some tweaks and for everyone to get what they want but I hope it doesn't become a compulsory mess.
