I was sorting my games by Publisher earlier and noticed all the Nintendo games and was curious how many I had from each year.
Mine are below. I didn't count free games (e.g. jump rope), NSO games (Tetris 99), games with a non-Nintendo publisher (e.g. Mario + Rabbids), or games which were technically published under Nintendo in some regions but aren't really Nintendo games (such as Dragon Quest).
34 total (4.25 per year), with 2019 easily winning.
I've broken this down for myself as well, so I guess I'll pitch in under the rules you set.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Super Mario Party Jamboree
Mario & Luigi: Brothership (I have it preordered)
47 games total (5.88 or so per year), with 2019, 2021, and 2023 all being tied for me.
@FishyS It was sort of all over the place and also had a lot of games that didn't appeal to me much. I did pick up both Sparks of Hope and Live a Live for games that aren't truly Nintendo releases, and I have siblings who own Switch Sports and Splatoon 3, so overall we're covered nicely.
In general the even-numbered years have been worse on Switch. 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024 are all easily in the back half of the Switch year ranking, while 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023 are top 4 (I'd say 2023 might have been best, followed by 2019, 2017, and then 2021)
So, out of this whole list, it seems 2019-2021 were the ones were I got the most games. But ultimately, I think 2021 and 2023 were my favorite years in terms of just sheer quality.
