What happens to all the regular third party games and future ones on the switch when Xbox game pass comes over to switch. I'm not interested in the game pass feature so I would be disappointed if we won't get third party games the regular way again.

Nobody knows yet. It wasn't even been confirmed yet so just chill and wait to see if it happens first.

I’d advise not making threads so prematurely. This has not even been revealed officially or had any details leaked, so obviously nobody here knows about it.

I'd reckon we'd see no real difference in game releases. After all, some Indie developers are seeing higher sales on Switch than even on Steam. Why sacrifice that just to be on a game subscription service? Not to mention as well as games being added to Game Pass, some get removed every month too like Netflix etc.

I'd like to hope this sees some kind of strong relationship between Microsoft and Nintendo. If true, we could be seeing certain Microsoft game releases on the Switch (Not Halo or Gears big but releases none the less) but imagine if we saw Rare come home with a physical/digital purchase port of Rare Replay?

Heck if it went down so well, maybe both companies could work around getting the original Goldeneye on both Switch and XBONE with Crossplay multiplayer? Sure there's still the matter of the movie licence but since no one's making Bond games anymore it shouldnt be too hard or too much for say Microsoft to pay for the rights right? I know shooters have come a loooooong way since 1997, but the game holds so much nostalgia and legacy among gamers, it has to be profitable. Especially also with a new Bond movie coming next year.

Speculation and wishful thinking I know, but I'd like to be hopeful.

@Angelic_Lapras_King I agree with you. I am also hopeful and would like to play Jet Force Gemini again, as I never finished that game back in the day. Also, I want to play those two 3D platformer games that I never played as a child.
