Topic: Ninjala - Server undergoing maintenance

The game finally dropped today. They had all this time to prepare. I downloaded it, start it up annnd...received an alert that the server is undergoing maintenance. LOL. Fail. I understand it's a free game, but if they want to entice me to play, it should be good to go on Day freakin 1.

The servers will be down until 7:00pm pst

It looks like servers go up 7 PM pacific time. So no one should have access yet.

Why did they set the pre-purchase time at a time the servers wern't ready?

@Lasanga_Man They probably did that so you can buy the dlc with the sale going on.

I haven't even seen it in the eshop yet :/ in Europe here..

Imagine Kingdom Hearts but with modern Ninja stuffs.

The official Twitter account did say the game servers go up at 19:00 PDT (7 PM PDT, being on the east coast US, that's 10 PM for me). It's worth checking a game's official social media account, not every bit of info makes it to the front page of Nintendo Life, or any other news site for that matter.

I don't have to be up early tomorrow, so I'm going to try and play a bit tonight, maybe one round or two before bed.

Edit: Past 10 PM where I live and servers are live. My experience so far. A few errors, otherwise more stable than the beta from awhile back (going by my experience anyway, your mileage may vary with the launch rush). Played two rounds, that's it for me as it's pretty late where I live. Hopefully will play more once the launch rush slows down.

I don't even know what the hell I'm supposed to be doing and the combat just seems really janky and wonky.

Back to Splatoon I go.

Nevermind, he was trying the beta one instead of the new one. It's working now, will test.

@mesome713 The weird thing is, I just played four rounds without any errors or any disconnection. I thought trying this morning as I'd figure the launch rush would be over or still sleeping.

Probably going to play again later, I have a busy morning ahead with some errands than need to be done before the day gets too hot. Hope others can get in and play, had fun the few rounds I played.
